What happened to the great Kobe Bryant? He ran Shaq and Phil Jackson out of town. He thought he was a one man band. But he sure found out the hard way, that losing the Diesel makes you Tracy McGrady out on the west coast. How does it feel to be 10 games under .500 Kobe? Especially when you thought it was you who was the straw who stirred the drink. And your team isn't even that bad. Lamar Odom is an All-Star caliber player. Caron Butler would probably be the second best player on the Knicks. Take a humility pill my man and count your blessings for those championships that Shaq got you. You may never see another unless you follow Tim Duncan or Garnett somewhere else.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Or the self proclaimed best point guard be so bad either?
I ain't hating on no team that still had a better record than us!
Kobe is a jerk, nothing new to report there!
They have a better team than us. Put Steph on Kobe's team, and they make the playoff's in the west. Put Kobe on the knicks and we probably have a worse record. That says alot.
Lebron James has a pretty damn good supporting cast in CLE yet his team is on the verge of missing out on the playoffs for the 2nd consecutive season in a weak Eastern Conference...does that reflect on his greatness as a player?
i'd give up Marbury, Ariza AND our lottery pick to get Kobe Bryant personally...& the Lakers probably wouldn't even take that package either.

Yes I do think it reflects on Lebron James as a player. He isn't making anyone around him better yet. He will in time probably. Kobe doesn't make anyone better either. Shaq does merely by demanding so much attention inside and creating double teams and so does Tim Duncan. That's why Shaq and Duncan's teams always win.

KG is an exception because he had the enigma that is Sprewell let him down. Sprewell is a clown who dogged it when they wouldn't give him the money he wanted. And, Cassell was hurt a lot of the year. So in my opinion, KG gets a pass this year.

I think everyone needs to realize that there is NO one superstar in the NBA who can take a team to the playoffs anymore. Jordan wouldnt be able to do it anymore. Plus, Jordan had Pippen who is probably completely underrated.
