The New York Daily News is reporting that the Philadelphia 76ers will have interest in trading for the Knicks' Tim Thomas this summer.

Thomas began his career in Philadelphia and still owns a home there.

"There's been a lot of talk about trading me," Thomas said. "We'll see. I'm just going to prepare myself to have a great season. I'm not going to stress about where I might be. If I'm here, so be it. If it's someplace else I'm still going to have a great year."

If by some chance there is a Sixers fan out there reading this thread, this is a must do situation for you. Not only is he an expiring contract, but he can be unstoppable *at times*. Call up Billy King and do whatever it takes to make this deal happen.

If there isn't, LMAO, good luck to Philly. I will throw a party the day we trade Timmy. Any reasonable chance we could turn it into a deal where we could squeeze Sammy or Korver out of them? It is a $15M expiring contract nonetheless.
