Assuming we don't win the lottery and Atlanta does. What are the chances we can trade them our pick or a future pick for theirs? They have a zillion rookies and young guys, and they won 12 games. How much are they really trying to draft versus trading for a veteran? Is it a possibility, even a remote one?

I want us to have another pick in the lotto, if not from them who? With their pick you obvioucly get Bogut, because if you do something else and bogut turns into gold, your history.

I'd trade our pick if its a 7 for two mid's although I don't know how exactly you do that.

But I like alot of these players and they seem like they are what we need. Big and athletic.
I'd try to pick up any combo of thes guys

Tiago Splitter
Fran Vasquez
Channing Frye
Chris Taft
Johan Petro
Charlie Villanueva
Hakim Warrick

We should be able to buy a pick from denver, they have 2.
Or maybe the L.A. clippers who have a bunch of youngins and no wins?
otr maybe toronto who has a lotto plus a mid first rounder and 2 second rounders?!?! WTF?!

orlando also has a lotto and 3 second rounders, all of which are ahead of our 2nd rounder.

How about Kelvin Cato for Kurt and their second rounder? Would they do it?

We NEED another pick!!

seem to be right up our alley as far as needs are concerned. They are big and play defense and block shots. Tiago even has an offensive game.

I still think our best bet is TT + #54 for Jalen Rose + #8 (or #14 at worst)

I think the Clippers are a ready made team right now......all they need is to get healthy for next season and they have a decent team with Livingston and Jaric playing well together in the backcourt. Their bench is solid with Wilcox, Ross, Rebracca and Simmons....they should be a really good team out the gate next season.....I think the Knicks should prey on that fact that they thing they might need veteran leadership......like KT for instance. KT could be a nice option behind Kaman and Brand.

That should be worth a first round pick!!!!

Denver has 2 first round picks. They need a SG. How about a 3 team trade with NY, Denver and Dallas.

New York:
Trades - Jamal Crawford
Receives - Earl Boykins, Shawn Bradley, Denver 1st round pick(17th), Dallas future 1st rounder.

Denver:
Trades - Earl Boykins, Eduardo Najera, 1st Round Pick(17th)
Receives - Jamal Crawford

Dallas:
Trades - Shawn Bradley
Receives - Eduardo Najera

i agree...the cap relief TOR gets from that deal would be worth it for them imo...more likely the #14 pick, but i'd still take that deal in a heartbeat.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Unless Zeke has a plane which includes TT in a trade we should do it. Jalen Rose is a good player to have for one more year than TT, he's consistant and he will help us win games.

With the #14 pick we can get 2 bigs and then use our #30 on a 2 guard. I would be so happy if we got to do that. We could realistically have 2 of the guys on my list in the original post.

LOL, knowing the knicks we would be paying the pick and TT. On top of that Tim thomas averages 18 points 5 reb and the 32 yo rose will get hurt 10 games in!
