Can't lose without him:

Forward Tim Thomas, who has missed the past two games with knee tendinitis, said he expects to play tonight.

Come on, Knicks! Keep up the bad play! You already lost the playoff spot and your pride so just do what you best do: quit! At least lets draft a great player so we can have a good reson to remember this season...

The Yankees lost... GRRRRR!!!!!!!

can you believe the luck for us knick fans? we were primed to lose that game against the pacers--we did everything fine, we played hard, but came up just a tad bit short, but hey the pacers have to get an 8 second call in the backcourt instead of calling TO, then of course kT the man hits a three point shot, we go down 6 in OT with 59 sec left, bam a quick hitter to sweet only takes 2 sec + 1. stumble bumble no shot by indiana we have 7 sec marbury take it to the hoop shoots with less then 2 seconds is off by a pretty good margin, game over right, no sweet happens to find the ball and oputs it back up. yes we had the luck to win a game we needed to lose. i dont trust the teams we have left giving 100%, but the knicks will, because someone believes they sell tickets that way. it was all right to lose, we were giving good effort, we had position 6 and a very good shot at number 1 in our grasps and now we will fall to 9, which will end up costing us IMHO. watch

same old. have a coach fighting for a job, and he's pushing veteran players that have some pride.

I agree about the positioning, and history proves you true. Early lottery is guys like Wade. Late lottery is guys like Sweetney. Sure we can hit some gold... happens every year, but luck and Knicks dont exactly go hand and hand, unless its bad luck.

I like the idea about Martin and myself going into the starting line up.

A little raw, but I like the youth and athleticism.
Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

whenever sweets stays out of foul trouble, he always seems to have a nice game. our plethora of bulky pf's is having great success versus the undersized raptors

amazing how good the offense looks when Kurt Thomas and his pick n roll doesn't have anything to do with it

Like many knicks fans, I want to have the best lottery pick possible, but I wholly disagree with throwing games. I have no problem with the Knicks giving their best every game. To be an pro athlete is to be competitive and showing the heart to go all out every night. So, even though I would be fine with the Knicks losing the rest of this season's games, I can also live with them winning.

What I do disagree with, is the way the team is managing the rotations. I mean, we're mathematically out, and realistically out a long time before that. Why are we playing starters major minutes? It just makes them more prone to injury, and limits the development of the youngsters. Play the youngsters! And if they play hard and win, so be it, but do something constructive with the time you have left! Don't play marbury 40+ mins for goodness sakes..

Just thought I'd throw in my two cents.

Players who got the memo the season is over (aka had a long talk with Zeke):

Steph 0-3 (tried to throw the game in Indy, when was the last time you saw him airball a layup?)
Jamal 1-4
KT 0-3

Players who are playing hard for Herb:
TT
MoT
JYD
Rose
Sweets

Players who don't have a chance to prove what they can do:
Ariza
Butler

Herb is in a tough position because he's trying to win, the majority of the players are playing their butts off A) for Herb and B) to prove to someone, anyone they aren't washed up (Mo and Tim and JYD and Rose, I'm looking at you guys)

I'm going to miss that draft pick.

phew. for a second it looked like the Knicks might pull this one out. luckily, Jalen Rose and Rafer Alston have too much pride and would never listen to Toronto if they told them to lose. I'll take the ping pong balls and worry about pride next year.
