I don't think Isiah will do that. He is scared right now that his great plan failed this season and will probably, not that I want him to, make more mistakes like the one above. He is trying to build a contender now because he knows that he is the responsible of bringing Stephon Marbury and he is also responsible of bringing him the "right" players so he can win.

If a player has a very big contract and isn't wanted by his team, be sure to count him as a New York Knick.

yup. i'm perfectly content doing just that. this team has to realize that it's time to start shedding these big contracts and accumulating 8-10 players on the roster all making less than $5-6 mil and hopefully under the age of 25/26. that's our best way to really give us some flexibility in trying to improve. these 29+ year olds making $8+/year are just not cutting it.

jyd - love him. malik rose - love him. problem is, everybody else in the league has players similar to this...only difference is that they drafted them in the 2nd round and are making <$2 mil/year.

but i fear that is not in the cards and i fear a disastrous penny and tim deal. penny for rose looks like it's gonna happen. and tim will get parlayed into something of jason giambi proportions...
