This draft is ushering in the death of the 2 guard and the death of the center. There are a million undersized pf's, a half million pf/sf tweeners, and a hundred thousand pg's. What is going on? Where are the shooters? I used to think shooters could easily be had, but where are they in the draft? Where are they in league even (You can't name 10 lethal 2 guards in this league)? I mean this draft may have 2 or 3 legit 6-6 or taller shooting guards. Where are the legit centers who are between 6-10 (i'm being generous) and 7 feet? What is going on?

Many of these 6-9 thru 6-11 guys are small fowards now. 6-9 guys are small fowards because they're too skinny to be PF's. And all of these 6-6 guys are PF's because they're too slow and too fat to be swingmen. What the feezy? I think there is talent in this draft, its just not very diverse.

6-6 pure shooters are always at a premium - why do you think houston got 100 mil?

maybe I should rephrase. I was talking about shooters, NBA sharp shooters, not scorers or great players, but shooters, which narrows that list to about 5 or 6, out of 2 guards. If we included 3's I could ad some more.

Allan Houston
Reggie Miller
Ray Allen
Michael Redd
Rip Hamilton

of course those others can shoot pretty decently, but shooting is not their calling card. These are the guys who are

Korver...

I wouldn't include Houston. He's pretty much finished and at best is a 15mins per game spot up shooter like a dell curry.

Quentin, leads the league in 3's this year. Rashard Lewis and Mike Miller can shoot lights out too. Are you sure you are talking about shard shooters? Cause it kinda sounds like you are trying to narrow it down to players than have only one weapon and that is their jumpshot. If thats the case, then your list is about right.

There are other "sharpshooters" though. Iverson for example is a sharpshooter that is not on your list. He can do other things too but he can shoot lights out.
