Who do you suggest we trade for him? I like Magloire, but I wouldn't give up much for him.

I'd be down to get Magliore but look at what's going on over in New Orleans. They are a young rebuilding team. They would definately trade Magliore if the Knicks sent back a 1st rounder.

Now I'm all for it but I would rather do something like this after this years draft. If Isiah can't draft a center then trade New Orleans a FUTURE 1st round pick! They could bite. No way do I trade any of this years picks.

this year's lottery pick no, but the late 1st rounder? that's a no brainer...Magloire could help you right now...you don't know what you'll get from a late 1st round pick...only problem is we don't have any matching ending salaries for NO to be motivated to make the deal...it would have to be a larger package of players.

maybe TT, KT & the late 1st rounder for Magloire, PJ Brown & George Lynch (cap filler) could work? it gets the Knicks a legitimate C for a change, gets rid of TT's useless butt, & gets 2 role players who while getting us older will at least bring some heart back to this franchise...the Hornets get some cap relief & another 1st round pick to continue their rebuilding.

C - Magloire / Brown
PF - lottery pick (Taft? Bogut?) / Sweetney / Rose
SF - Ariza / Lynch / JYD
SG - Crawford / Penny
PG - Marbury / MLE (Watson?)
IR - Houston / Mo T

Maglore is only a noch above Mohammed, he is hardly a shotblocker, and has no post game.

We def should not be wasting any of our assets on him. If we had a shotblocking lowpost presence at PF, then maybe.

But we have a bunch of undersized scrubs at the 4, half of whom are also out of shape. Maglore is just not what we need.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I like Magliore, but he is just an improvement over what Nazr- if you can get him cheap and you can upgrade in a good way at the 4. But no reason to over pay for him

I agree he is not the answer, if he can be had cheaply lets do it, but if not, let him stay. Id rather eddy Curry or even Kwame.
