Look at the job this guy has done. He has this team at 41-34 and did a job no one had done before. Ernie Grunfeld did a good job with the import of GS players; Hughes, Arenas, Jamison, but they were here already for awhile. They still had to be coached. This guy was the main man for Byron Scott in NJ and I just think he doesn't get his props. I wish Herb had a little Eddie inside of him. I like Herb but this recent washout is indicative of something, namely that the inmates are running the asylum. It is definitely not okay to mail it in when you are out of playoff contention. We deserve much better.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Who is so great on the Wizards? Hughes never, ever, did anything like this until this year. Credit him or his coach. Arenas is also having a career year. Jamsison is also having a great year.
This would be the equivalent of TT averaging 18 and 7, Jamal Crawford averaging 19 and 6 assists and Marbury actually becoming a floor general and taking over games in the fourth quarter. No direction is the problem with NY's finest and someone worthy better be invited to lead the symphony next year.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

My point exactly. The we ball being played stems from their coach Eddie Jordan.

they have lost five in a row to lose home court in the playoff. realistically, their playoff chances are in doubt right now. eddie is a good coach, but he does have a high talent level. if the Knicks got someone like Jamison to play with Marbury, they would easily make the playoffs. the Wizards also have very good bigmen role players and probably the best back court in the East.
