Sweets & Kurt in a sign and trade for Eddy Curry and a pick?

This seems fair.

KT is 6th in league in rebounding.
Sweets could easily be a 10-12 and 7 guy off the bench.

What do you guys think?

no pick maybe. I think Skiles would love KT. Dont know about the GM. Assuming Eddie is healthy they may just want to part ways.

one thing: they dont like Chandler at C and have avoided playing him there.

KT would be a perfect player for Skiles system, KT loves to play Defense and Skiles loves when his team plays defense. I think I would have to take this trade as much as I dislike Eddy Currys attitude when it comes to rebounding he's still got alot of talent to be tapped on offense and who knows maybe a change of scenery would help him out and the Knicks out.

from a knowledgable bulls fan (from another site) - the plan all along was/is to re-sign BOTH curry and chandler. that's why they wanted jamal + jyd/erob off the books.

as a knicks fan - there's is no way i give a big $$$ deal to a guy that's hospitalized with an irregular heartbeat. there's too much risk involved, and we're not in a position to be taking big risks.

I think the only way we can get Eddy (assuming his heart condition is okay) is if *we* give up a pick, and not just our late 1st rd pick. We're gonna have to give up a lottery pick to get him.

Briggs didn't think that even that offer would be enough, and he might be right. I think there's a chance Chicago would do it though.

we can't gve up sweets & KT & a lottery pick. Thats just crazy.

Thats beyond crazy, thats retarded. The only other way is, I don't know another way actually. If the lotto pick is whats required I would say it depends on where we pick and how we could make the numbers work, I would be way less excited about getting him though at that price. We could have had him earlier in the season for Nazzy and Sweets. We shoulda pulled the trigger on that. hindsight is 20/20/.

Come to think of it, if we're giving up our lotto pick it needs to be for Elton Brand, not eddy curry. Unless the bulls include someone else in the trade as well, or take someone off of our hands.

you might be refering to me. I don't have a problem with trading out lottery pick for Curry and Deng if Bogut, Green & Taft are gone
