I like Memet, but this trade would force us into a style of play that I don't think suits NY, or champinoship contention. We would have a team of all shooters, and our in the paint points would come from Marbs! Thats not an equation for success IMO. I wanted us to get him earlier, but I think we could get more for sweets and craw. WHat exactly I don't know.

If we're in a position where we can't get Bogut or Andruskevicius, but can get Gerald Green this might make sense IMO. You have to give to get, and I realize we'd be giving a lot here, but Okur can post up and score in the paint. I think he'd be a good starter at center, which we currently don't have on the roster. Still have guys like Mo Taylor who play inside as well. I don't think we'd be pure shooting team at all, no more than we are now. I'd draft a solid college senior (Frye, Garcia, Simien etc.) and a talented project (Blatche, Lorbek, Mensah-Basu) with the 2 late first rounders.

Anyway, its just a thought. I think Okur MIGHT be a guy who is attainable given Utah's current situation, although they are probably more likely to deal Boozer if anyone.
