I am just sick and tired of the NBA being polluted with guys who either suck or no longer care about playing quality ball, but the league and their teams have to keep them in because of their huge guaranteed deals..

Just think,in the nFL you get a signing bonus, if you are really good, you get a really huge bonus, the rest of your contract, you have to play for. But you also notice that the Play of the NFL has been good for years, and the line between losing teams and winning teams is a fine one...

It is a shame that guys like Tim Thomas, Glen Robinson, Penny Hardaway,Spoon, Alvin williams, and the list goes on and on, have to hold their teams hostage, limit their flexibility because they either are not the same player they were before, were overpaid due to a high market, or just don't give a rip anymore. This has really hurt the league and keeps teams from getting any better sooner....

I say change the salary structure, make it more forgiving, let players play for their contracts and give teams a way of moving out players who should not be int he league for guys who WANT to be in this league....

it'll never happen...the NBA is ruled by the players, not the owners...these guys could just go to Europe & make millions playing over there if the NBA owners tried that...NFL players can't do the same because american football isn't nearly as much of a worldwide popular sport like hoops is.
