This is a mega thread I know.....

Still....

Everyone seems to want Phil Jackson in NY. Phil is not gonna sit on the bench and lose for most of his stay in NY. He's gonna want to add some proven vets to run his triangle offense.

It is very much a possibility Ray Allen can be a candidate for a sign and trade to NY. Ray would play the role of Ron Harper, just twice as better. Marbs is not a true point but he can get to the basket and score. "The Triangle" calls for a player to be good at getting to the basket. The problem is the Knicks would need an inside presence in order to be truly efficient. Guys like Lamar Odom and Carlos Boozer seem to be available.

That is just me pondering a Phil Jax scenario. There are still other guys out there like Silas, and whoever else is out there including Herb.

Then there is the draft. Isiah set the Knicks up with 2 picks this year. There is a lot of talent in this draft but......that doesn't mean Isiah wouldn't trade to get the proven players to accommodate a new coach like Phil Jax.
