ah, don't be fooled, baron is playing well now because he is rested and energized, I mean he only plays 1/4 of the season, so this is like the first 20 games for baron. Next year he will be injured and GS will be back in the lottery.. All they are doing now is messing up their draft position, I hope they keep winning... we need the high pick..

i really enjoy watching GS play. I am of the belief that if Baron Davis stays healthy for 70% of the season and the young guys do well off the bench then GS is going to be a helluva team next year

Since GS plays late games then I'm even more elated because now I don't have to watch the Clippers. I love this guy Biedrins

So GS is out of the playoff race and still playing to win? I thought only the Knicks did that? Or maybe every team plays to win and some people just want to find more reasons to complain?

BP, what does Biedrins look like? I've been interested in this guy since they drafted him but havn't heard much about him since. He's listed as a sf. A 6'11" sf?? I thought he was supposed to be an inside man?

And how is Dunleavy doing? I've been under the impression that his development is stalled. Is that so?

Dunleavy's best years are still ahead of him. He is the son of a coach, he will be just fine. However, he is a Duky, they normally do really bad in the professional arena...I hope that Hill continues to prove people wrong

LIttle mike will never be a star, but he is real solid fundamentally. He passes well and moves without the ball well. He left a year early and is only like 23 with two years underhis belt. He is the kind of kid teams need.

GS is playing to build a foundation for next year. These kids can finally feel good about somthing and be motivated for a good reason.

we are also trying to do the same, but instead have to first make sure Marbs gets his 20 and 8, then all else falls into place. Our guys fall deeper and deeper into a bad place.

If Isiah hires a fundamentally sound coach to structure our players, we will have a great squad given that we draft a SG and a Center. We have plenty of spots that need to be filled. Sillas is a defensively minded coach, and most of all he is a player coach. I like Herb, but I am not sure that he is the dude for this team.

Way to go...also, someone said that if baron davis was healthy for 70% of the games...what if Houston was for the knicks?

Oh, yeah, everyother team gets a pass when one of their best players is out for the season, but the knicks just get bashed...BY THEIR OWN "FANS"

why do you want Silas of all people? this is the same coach who couldn't take a team w/Lebron, Ilgauskas & Boozer to the playoffs last season in a pathetically weak Eastern conference...the same coach who's team almost had a similar breakdown towards the end of this season as well before they fired his arse...

there was a time when i used to think Silas would have been a good choice for the Knicks, but after the past 2 seasons he's shown me he's not the guy i want...if we can't get an elite coach like a Riley, Brown or Jackson, then why bother changing yet again & giving that same old tired excuse for the players to fall back on if they stink that they are still learning the new coach's system? how long did it take the Grizzlies to "learn" Mike Fratello's system before they started winning game? how about George Karl's "system" in Denver? they sure seemed to have picked up on that rather quickly...i say stick w/Herb Williams unless we get 1 of those top 3 guys...it's counter productive to constantly change coaches year after year when you're just bringing in 1 shmo after the other.

the fact is Herb is one of the smartest guys around BB. He has always been a real student of the game and a guy thats looked to learn from everyone he's ever worked or played with.

This team has one major problems The players all have different styles of play. Until that changes not much else will

Or what if we had the 16/5 TT we had last year. But you're right that a few posters here view other teams more objectively than this team. We'll just wait and see who was correct. I can't wait until this time next year.

Those teams were very good teams last year, winning records, playoff berths.... they slumped this year, the new coaches came in, cracked the whip, and got the talent of their respective teams playing up to their talent level once again.

Herb Williams was given a team with a non-functioning Houston and a comatose Tthomas and managed to wkae up TimmyT, and sit Crawford when he plays no D...

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Hey! here is the difference between experience coaches (good coaches) Vs one with just a freaking title, good coaches adopt to their players or the talents that they have around. Coaches with a title, try to instill a style and often changes it which create nothing but chaos....Lenny did just that create chaos...

Did you see that game last nite? IT was pathetic! I read the GM of our team is telling FANS that allan should retire! I love Allan and really really want him back in form!

I really want this fan to be proud of our team. ThiS fan can accept potential, can accept injury, can accept the roster, but I cannot accept not trying! Now SOme want to lose to gain better draft pick. Thats cool, but I want these guys to try hard and play to their ability. IF they lose, so be it, but this is bull crap!

Did yo see INdy? No JO who was an MVP candidate last year. NO Ron artest, and they kicked us around! They are going to the playoffs and played tough! That squad beat our team by 18 points in our house!

I can't stomach that, and I will bitch and moan about it!

To tell you the truth...I really have no idea why we suck.

I just can't put my finger on it...my only guess is that they are lying to us and are rebuilding.

And they are tanking the season, but saying all the right things to the press.

In Isiah's first two years in detroit he won 39 and 37 games.

Everyone was probably down on him then as well. I see a future, just can't put my finger on why we suck so bad.

I think it's because the season is over.

Well, now I know what a met fan feels like.

Ok, you guys win, bash away.

Timmy sucked to start the season
where is H20
Crawford is a 6th man this and next year
Sweetney needs to lose weight
Marbs can't play defense
Kurt has good numbers
Marbs averages 10 assists
Ariza is a second round draft pick?
Does anyone miss Vin Baker?
Oh, sorry, I started liking the team again.

That would just give us like the 10th pick instead of 6th. No thanks. I'll take any loss be it bad effort, bad execution, bad anything.

I have mentioned that Baron Davis is more of a winner than Marbury, but everyone jumps on me....fact is marbury is a scrub, he hasn't played with heart in weeks and let the pacers embarrass the knicks last night by 18, and they were only missing

artest, oneil, harrison, jones and tinsely, which could beat the knicks by itself and get into the playoffs in the east......zeke you've brought in real character guys
yes GS has cahones! they have won 10 of 11 knocking out Houston!
