good job knicks, you got the L, keep it going, even though they did try to win. did you notice JC had 10 points in 45 minutes, with 6 of them coming as B beaters???

well, we can only pray this keeps up and that we get a legitimate lucky chance at pick 1, because we really need it. we need a leader, we need players who care, who have size

If we can get Bogut with pick 1 and trade up and or trade personell--KT and Sweet to Orlando for Battie and pick 13 and take Frye, we could play high low with 2 seven footers.

I don't care how long we sck. Im not looking for any quick fix, im not looking to trade a high pick for all harrington, mike finley or 98% of the retreads in this league

one thing isiah has proven, he hasnt been able to trade NBA personell very well

Give me the three 7 footers, get Crawford the hell out of the SL and then if IT wants to blow some of his ending contracts on a Finley--i dont care, its a big upgrade from crawless

they are going to play TT till he needs surgery and then his value will be worth sht and he will come back slow from injury.

if we don't get a #1, then i say we take taft, then trade:

2006 spurs pick + 2005 #2 + $3mil for a pick 15-20 and take frye.

then take BPA with the last first rounder.

and if somebody is around in the 2nd round, pay $500,000 for a #2.

let's INFUSE this team with 3-4 <21 year olds that'll push the scrubs off the floor.

If we dont get Bogut, the next step is to take a very hard look at the 7-3 C, and if he is not worthy, I think before anyone else, we need to do what we can to grab Green.

For me, my two HIGH list prospects are Bogut and Green. If we did get Green, I would probably go in a different direction and go after the style of play the Suns are using and instead of Frye, I would trade up for warrick.

Either Im playing big or im playing very athletic--thats what we need, we need a style of play--let the position constitute what we do.

I agree we need some size, the knicks are the only team in the league where every long rebound bounces over the head of the whole knicks team, because we don't have anyone over 6'10 that can jump and get those boards...

I am not so down on craw as briggs is, I think he will be fine, right now this team is so rag tag, I know at least craw is playing hard, he just needs to find out what the heck he needs to do...

funny Bogut & green have been my #1 & 2 choices for months now and Taft #3. I'm glad I've stayed consistent through it all.

Yes we need a great center but Bogut is the only one who has potential be be good and like Briggs said if we don't get Bogut then we need to do the next best thing, which is become more athletic. With more stars like Gerald Green who can not only jump through the roof but can shoot as good or better than the overrated Tracy McGrady.

Gerald Green would be a great second prize, but there is no way Im passing on a 7-1 245 pd 20 YO C with a skill level so advanced for his age its scary. People tend to forget he was 19 3 months ago.

Al harrington is a retread. hes been in the league for 7 years. hes already blown out one knee, and now is having arthritic problems with the knee already. Sorry thats a retread. Someone else's problem that we dont need.

Despite being from my hometown of Elizabeth, NJ...I dont consider Al Harrington a player who would make us a significantly better team.

we need a leader and a style of play. you see how the pacers havw won this year with their massive injuries and suspensions? they have a certain effective style of play and have enough personell to execute it. thats why they were lucky to get DD when JO went down.

any fan who wants to throw excuses out there for the knicks, look hard at the pacers and several other GOOd teams with winning records. we are what we are a BAD team. we have bad players we have no style of play we are small and to think I have to watch the wimpy JC on this team for the next 6 years is scary. Please God, make HIm take some juice! maybe his test levels are to low! but hes a great buzzer beater shooter!

Bogut is the most overrated college player in recent memory... he won't do a thing. Let some other team waste a 1st pick on him.

And dont get me started on May. That guy is a fat tub, who would never get away with any of the BS he does now in the pros.

People said the same about chris kaman and he turned out fine. Bogut is a much better player than Kaman!

I think Kaman will be a good pro despite his bizaare appearance. I just hope for the sake of entertainment that Isiah hit gold with both picks... Im tired of these GMs getting paid millions a year to trash the team I love. I can root for kids that lose. Its hard to root for lazy guys with monster contracts that are the only thing keeping them in the league.

May seems to be a slightly more polished version of Mike Sweetney to me from what i can gather watching him play...he'll do well against NBA 2nd teamers, but he won't be able to bully players w/his bulk against many of the NBA starters like he's doing in the NCAA.

Bogut can be at least as good as a Brad Miller imho...if that's severely overrating him, then i guess i'm guilty of that...i'd still take him w/the #1 pick if i could.

Bogut is obviously the BPA. If he and MArvin are another Stro/KMart 1-2 lottery then thats life. Stro and Kmart werent bad picks, it was the draft thats was bad.

This is a VERY deep draft, and if the above is the case then you trade down and come away with 2-3 guys.

People that say Bogut is overrated are in the minority. I was impressed in the 3-4 games I saw him. An awfull lot has been written about him and none of it negative.

There is no team in the NBA that more deserves Bogut than us.

What team has paid more to the NBA in salary cap tax than us?

What group of fans has had to put up with worse mismanagement than us?

David Stern should be rooting for us to get the top pick to make this Knick team matter again.
