If there turns out to be a strike, I'll be one piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissed basketball fan.

I kinda hope that there will be an age limit, b/c I want to see some of these young players learn some fundamentals in college. Even Carmello, after just one year, has at least a little, but not quite enough. We are rarely going to have more LeBrons and T-Macs and Kobes and KGs and Moses Malones come out, so I think you might as well just set the rule for the NBAs and players sake.

As for the other issues, I have no clue what's going on. Are they really trying to take away the salary cap?

Taking away the salary cap? That would be a dream come true. We could buy the top players. Where did you hear this rumor?

I think here, but it's just vague. I doubt they actually take away the salary cap. But if there were no salary cap, it would literally make Penny and TT and Houston untradable until they sign new and smaller contracts.

I would gladly live with Penny and TT on the team for another 13 months and Houston for one additional year if it meant no more salary cap! Basketball live by the principles of capitalism? I don't see it happening either, though. The cap has been around for about sixty years and is here to stay.

There is no way they will get rid of the salary cap.

i wish the nba would have non guaranteed contracts like the nfl,so we could just waive players like houston that are taking up space.
