I know we have a lot of PFs, but he seems like one of those players that we could really use. He has a low post game on offense and he will probably be a very good NBA defender. Or do we just have too many PFs. Personally, I say screw Mo taylor, and trade one or 2 of the others if you're interested in Warrick. Frankly, I still like the guy, but that's just my opinion.

I had mentioned on another thread, I am warming up to the idea of Hakim...but he is by no means my first choice. I look for a decent C, and if they all happen to be taken at the time, I have no problem drafting him.

you have to realize that there never is that many decent centers in drafts. Decent centers are such a rarity these days. What there is in these drafts are star players like wade, amare, mcgradys who are passed up on because GMs take the prospects and foreign players first who take a long time to develope.

If he drops to our late 1st round pick, sure, but not with the lottery pick. There are so many better options out there considering he is a tweener.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I absolutely do not want this guy with the loterry pick. I personally think he sucks. If he comes with that Spurs pick I won't be mad....but I would quickly try to trade him. I really don't like Warricks game.

He's got top 5 talent and there are scenario's where we could do much worse, but I'm officially on the other side of drafting him because of his frame. One skinny core rotation player is enough. You want to trade Crawford and get me another pick, then, depending where I am--if im 8-9, i look to reconsider for the SF position. He would be a post up 3 who could conceivably move to 4 at times if we had a huge C.

Id like the Knicks to get one of Bogut Greene or Williams. In the next tier you are looking at Taft, Warrick, McCants, Petro, Martynas, and Bargnani. Of course, this is a PG heavy draft and happens to be a need position for the following teams- Atlanta, Utah, Toronto and possibly New Orleans. So we will get a pick'um of players that are solid. Lets hope we have some luck and the decision is any easy one.

again this goes with style of play. If Zeke wants a fast athletic uptempo team as he once promised then Warrick would certainly fit well into that mix. I think 6-8 (where we are headed) is a little high for him but its a bit of a wash with this draft. After the top 3-4 guys you could almost interchange the next 15.

If we are going more for size, toughness, rebounding half court defensive style then give me Danny Granger.

Then of course there is are guys we dont have a lot of info about like Petro or the Russian kid... maybe we give them a promise, who knows.

Warrick would be a nice addition...Isiah needs to make up his mind where he wants to take this team & make moves towards that end...enough of this mixing & matching crap...let's get a team identity for a change like fish mentioned.

Zeke has been preaching a fast, athletic, running team but Marbury plays a half court game. Either Zeke is lying or he isn't looking at Marbury too closely.
