Its been probably raised before but since its getting close to the end of the season and draft time, would you do it?

Im starting to lean towards yes myself. Its a risk but it might be worth it.

sure i would...since we have Crawford on the roster who can play PG, i would gladly give up Marbury to get a chance at Bogut...but by doing so you also have to take on some very bad contracts to fill up the cap figures...i'd have to see the entire deal to give you a better answer, but 1 for 1 it's a no brainer for me.

Of course, without even having to think about it.

I havent thought of an exact trade but I know it wouldnt involve making it impossible to surround Bogut with enough talent for years.Doubt he would have much incentive to stay.

Crawf and Kurt Thomas for Bogut is a much better deal. I would not trade Marburry for an unproven college player. You don't trade star for potential stars.

Hell no, I wouldn't trade Marb for Bogut. I would only trade Marb for: TMack, Kobe, Garnett, O'Neal, Wade, or a combo of Odoms, 2draft picks, and a big man from LA.

Hell yeah, if worse came to worst, we draft a PG with our own lotto pick. I'd just hate to see the contract we'd be taking back.

Good question. They are going to be in the running for the #1 pick for the next few years so maybe they bite on the chance of having a top tier PG that can increase ticket sales while building with draft picks.

Atlanta might have draft picks but they have no star power that draws in the fans.Marbury would give them that.

I'd trade Marbs for Bogut as long as we don't take back any long term deals - which is technically possible since Bobcats, Hawks etc. are significantly under the cap.

I wouldn't... I agree, don't trade for someone who hasn't proved anything, and does anyone wonder if he can play under the NY media pressure? I'd wait before I trade Marbury

Marbury is not even an allstar..why would anyone in their right mind trade the #1 pick for a non allstar making $20mil a year!

He also said he wouldnt take on contracts like Taylor's and Rose's,that Nazr was the future and the key to the KVH/TT trade etc..He is changing his mind as he goes along, that quote isnt worth the paper its printed on.

Yes, but Marbury is Isiahs crown jewels. His pride and joy. Totally different than him taking on bad contracts.

Marbury is an elite level player. Saying he's not an all-star is kind of dumb. Would I trade him for a package that consisted of either M Williams or Bogut? Yes, but lets wait and see here. Were going to have a reasonable chance to get into the lottery. Losing tomorrow will go a long way to help because its a head on lottery opponent.

Maybe w can still get lucky. we have to lOSe games, they have to sck it up and tank here, its VERY important we are 2 games out of the 6th seed. the sixth seed represents the last position where you have a 30% chance of getting spots 1-2-3. it drops pretty big from there.

if we get spots 1-2-3, we have a LOT of options even at pick 6 we have nice options leverage.

pick 8-9 in this draft drops off the table a bit.

Im not trying to argue that Marbury isnt Isiah's favorite.Still,I dont doubt for a minute that if it were between him and his job,Marbury would be history.Probably wont happen this time but I wouldnt rule it out in the not too distant future.
