No, he is not the best PG. Nash gets more assists which is the most important for a PG. Brevin Knight also averages more assists than Stephon.
Who is better statistically??
Iverson is better statistically.

Wade plays enough at PG to qualify and he is better statistically. Most dont think he is a PG so he doesnt count.

On the Knicks, yeah? ALthough Crawford could be.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Yea man. He is playing PG all this year. He was a SG for many years before this season though.

1 Jason Kidd- pass first, triple double machine
2 Starbury- a consisent player, 20 and 8 every night
3 Steve Nash- plays on a monster squad, only reason assist #'s are hi
4 Dwayne Wade- plays with Shaq, thats 4 free assist right there
5 Allen Iverson- takes 35 shot attempts but still finds away to get lobs up to Dalembert and Iguodala and 3's for Korver

I know your gonna ask, Marbury played for Phoniex why didnt he average 11 assist? Because Amare was a rookie and he didnt have Q. Rich hittin 4 threes a game. Plus the new coach just put in Phoniex's high tempo offen

Right now there is no top PG because all the players on your lists have a lot to prove in the playoffs (Marbury, Nash, Wade) or proved it when they were younger and better than they are now (Iverson, Kidd)

Great PGs don't play out of control down the stretch as Marbury too often does.

He's not out of control, he's just giving maximum effort.

My top 5

Kidd always
Bibby, he makes the game look very easy
Marburry Too bad that he doesn't have consistant producers to make him look better
Nash, he has good finishers around him
Parker, he has Duncan

? so you can't rank these guys cuz none of them have won an NBA title recently? i don't get what you're getting at.

Parker helps make his team mates better, Iverson doesn't.

Stat wise, marbs is great.

Point guards should be judged on Wins and losses. This is what Marbs says, and I believe this.

We must judge on defense also.

He's not out of control, he's just giving maximum effort.

Then he's not doing it efficiently.

Where did I mention NBA titles? Most of those guys (including Marbury) haven't made it to or past the 2nd round in several years (except Kidd, who's not the player he used to be).

Perhaps you didn't see the game last night. Kidd looked pretty darn good to me for most of the game. I STILL consider him to be the top PG.
