TT has been improving every game. He is 8th in the league in 3 point %. He has great post up skills and can shoot. you can't forget that he is 6-10, one of the bigger people oTon the knicks. The knicks should resign TT, hopefully for less $$$

Any thoughts...

right now they should sit TT if he has a hurt knee. They should also sit KT with all of his ailments. Shut down those two guys. TT semed to have turned the corner, now they are STUPIDLY playing him with a hurt knee in meaningless games. this is why I have 0 confidence in the management. Quite frankly I think they lack brain power, the ability to think things through carefully. Marbury banging his knee after playing 42 minutes, thats all e need.

Shut KT and TT down, cut marbury's time back, it doesnt take brain scientists to figure it out.

For cheap, I guess he's not such a bad player, but I don't feel confident having him as our starter for the full season. If we can swing a deal for him this offseason, I will personally pack his bags for him.
It's time for Ariza.

look at tim thomas's build, i dont think he will get hurt that bad. If there is a collision the other guy will die. TT is tough as nails. I forget game it was but tt was going for a rebound and flipped over the man and landed on his back pretty hard, he got back up in a second without being hurt. He is just getting better. Play TT but i agree with you on KT. Sit him and start JB or Bruno

seriously, there is something philosophically wrong with this management. unreal. they're playing to win with their veterans playing 35-40 mins/night. with the way the season is going, you KNOW marbury is going to get hurt. unreal.

as for tim - i hate him. i don't care how well he's playing, he's mr. unreliable. i don't know if it's herb that made him "turn the corner" or if this is just on of his normal "turn the corner" routines he does once a year. we saw it last year, and i think we saw it EVERY SINGLE YEAR of his career before then. he's mr. unreliable and i will NEVER advocate keeping him around. btw, and even when he's "turned the corner", he still doesn't rebound...ugggh.

i gotta disagree with you on this one. i've never seen a man his size so scared of contact my entire life. he shies away from it. he has a similar build to amare but nowhere near the heart or desire.

i dont think he shys away from contact. Maybe at the beginning of the season but now he is mainly a post player. HE draws a lot of fouls with drives and post ups in the block. He is not the dunker amare is but he does not shy away from contact. He is driving a lot now.

GayZ is tough?

He's got a big mouth and big body. But he has a small brain and is mentally soft. No thanks.

TMS said it about right... TT is garbage, and he has ZERO post game. Sorry, but backing down a smaller guy to about 10 feet (half the time resulting in an offensive foul) then jumping higher that hit and flipping the ball towards the rim isnt a post game. A post game is footwork and getting TO the basket. Not getting close and flinging the ball AT the basket.

The more I watch him the more I am impressed with just how fundamentally unsound he is. ZERO BB IQ and a loafer. But we get him for 40 minutes a night while Ariza sits for the whole first half.

Extending this twat would push it to the limit as far as I'm concerned.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Those post ups resulting in 10- 15 ft Js are moves you'd expect from your shooting guards who are 6'6"- 6'8". NOT a guy who is 6'10" with the body and talent of Tim Thomas. He should be taking it to the rim everytime he gets those posts ups, b/c he can. He can challenge anyone, but he doesn't, b/c he thinks he is Ray Allen, Allan Houston, Rip Hamilton.

At least he is posting up more and taking 10 foot shots however, as opposed to jacking up 3s earlier in the season, but he's still soft as ever, b/c he doesn't work AT ALL on the defense, doesn't rebound. He should be grabbing 8 a game at least. He grabs 3. And you can see he's still getting these 10 point 3 rebound a night games. They come just as often as the high scoring games.

I we keep him around, I just hope it's to let his contract expire, then make Ariza the full time starter in the SL.

any 6'10" guy who plays 20+ minutes & collects 0 rebounds & scores in single digits doesn't deserve to carry the dirty towels into the lockerroom.

Trade TT as soon as you get a nice offer because of his contract, be it this offseason or during next year. You're right that he has improved a little lately, but his defense and rebounding are still horrible.

IM dying over that one.

His game last nite was awful! his defense was so lame!

At the end of the game he is laughing and moving around having a good time a mid court before the god squad starts its little prayer group! He is so freaking lacking any heard its not funny.

Keep him? Not for a bag of bolts!

Even if he were 100% healthy,I knew he was going to choke vs. the Nets.Even though Kenyon is on the other side of the country,he still couldnt get the job done.Ill be really surprised if he has a good game against them the next time.

I hope he can turn it around, just not here.Ill give Isiah credit. We werent on the hook for this guy for too long so I cant blame him for trying.I will blame him if he re-signs him.

Look, I don't blast Isiah on this one. It was a nice try! Gazy has been overpaid inconsistant and Isiah thought he could convert him! It was a calculated risk. Maybe Isiah could have dumped KVH for little, maybe not, but its done and time to move on. WE need this guy gone as soon as feasible.

If Isiah finished 500 this year it would have been progress with this younger team. But we went backwards. TT really mailed it in this year! Keep him? Keep him on the bench!

If there's any team willing to give up a 1st rounder for TT, do it. I don't care who it is.
