How about Mike Sweetney picks 9 + 53+ 3mm$ for pick 5 if G Greene is there

Id be willing to pay a hefty tag for him.

Would they want both Murphy and Sweetney? They're both one position players.

unless Greene is a can't miss prospect (& i'm not saying he's not because i have no idea on him 1 way or the other), i say go for a more established young NBA player who will make more of an immediate impact.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I was watching the Golden State game and I was wondering why in the world is this team still winning games?

Then I signed on and saw this thread

I don't too much care for Bogut or Taft but with a hard nosed player inside like Murphy, I think Bogut or Taft would be solid for GS.
Well, let me add if Baron Davis stays healthy for a good portion of the season

I have a feeling GSW will pass us. With Baron, they're playing really well. I wish they'd beat us at MSG.

I would love to come away from the lotto with Greene or Taft. They seem like future stars at positions we desperately need size and athleticism.

Did you see the micky D's game? his shot is money. On the offensive end he is an ariza with a shot.

Green has a good mid-range game, can score off the dribble, could shotblocker, has length to be a great perimeter defender and rebounder for the SG position. I like what I've seen, but I don't know what to make of reports about his attitude.

I wonder how Allan would be worked into the rotation when he recovers... would they really sit a guy making $20M/yr?

He can only be a great defender if he is quick. That's what I haven't seen enough of to be convinced (at least not yet). On offense his shot looks good - but I've only seen highlights to judge a shooter I want to see someone do it consistently over a period of time. Watching him against other HS. players he looks great - but I expected to see even more dominance - it's a huge leap from HS to the NBA.

I'm not saying he isn't all that... I just haven't seen it yet.

At this point I'd say no. I really think Sweets is gonna get his act (and his ass) together over the summer and come back playing a much more dominating game on the offensive boards and in the post, like Fortson on his non-psycho nights. I don't want to give him and the #9 up for the #5. Anh-anh.
