Boozer may be available...

He is a secondary piece and would be a great PF for us. We can trade KT and JYD to Utah (or KT, JYD and Sweets for Boozer and Collins who becomes a FA after the year) for him (Say hello to Mr. Pick and Roll, KT). Operating under the impression of trading KT and JYD for Boozer, you can trade Sweets for another pick (Maybe the Lakers?)

Draft
Taft, Warrick, and McCants (I am going by the draftcity.com mock because i am tired of going by nbadraft.com and it looks totally different)in the first round and whoever in the second round.

Taft/Butler
Boozer/Rose
TT/Warrick
Craw/Ariza??
Steph/McCants

hell yeah, i'd do that trade if it was on the table...Boozer would give us a legitimate 16 / 8 type player to anchor that PF position for years to come...i wouldn't include JYD in the deal though...better to give up Mo T instead if anything...Mo T will give you more offense...just add some cash considerations to even out the dollar difference in their deals...i just don't want to lose JYD's intangibles...he's a rare player that we need to hold onto.

Boozer's better than 16/8. He averaged 11.4 rbs last year and this year with awful talent in the backcourt to set him up he averaged around 18/9. With Marbury setting him up, it could easily be 21/9.

Love your plan JoeC. I am thinking though, wouldnt the Jazz want more then just KT and JYD for Boozer though? I mean I know they are trying to get rid of him and all but he's still a good player. I think they would certainly ask for that our late round draft pick back for him and MAYBE even Sweetney in the deal. Love your draft picks though. Man if IT could pull this off....

yeah, i know...i wanted to be overly conservative w/the # since i know there are posters on this board who think Sweetney will be a better player...you know how i feel about Boozer.
