I can't believe I am saying this, but the pick & roll is the reason why we are as horrendous of a team. Utah did pretty well with it, but as you all can see, they ran away from it because they no longer have the athletes that can make it work.

We are a run and shoot type of team with low post presence...TT, Taylor and Sweetney should have considerable amount of touches. It was very evident during the games that Kurt were out how good of a squad we can be, so it is imperative for Herb to take note of that. I am not asking to totally abandon it, but it will be nice if we adopt a much more productive system.

Kurt out of the lineup will help greatly...

I don't think it's our offense that is killing us... it is stil our defense.. but KT shouldn't be at the top of the key shooting Js, unless the rest of the team can hustle back and play some transition D. KT does not have the foot speed to stop the break without fouling.

But you are right about KT's presence... KT comes back and the Knicks go on a 4 game losing streak

Road rec has nothing to do with the lack of discipline that we have exhibit whether on the road or at home. Kurt Thomas lack of athleticism is our biggest problem. He is an OK man to man defender, but he doesn't help improve team D. His lack of lateral movement is an issue, also his inconsistency as a scorer too is a problem. When his 18' jumper is not there, he doesn't have any other way to get points. He doesn't penetrate nor create for himself. He is by far what we don't need as a PF/C. isn't it evident how well we play when he is out of the lineup???? His production is the smoke screen that blinds this organization from seeing where our problems reside.
