he has a LOAD of potential and he can contribute very positively right now. I think Ariza may be a tougher player, but this kid has more talent and has he hones it, he will be one heckuva tough G.

I will say for the most part that drafting the highly talented HS kid, even if you have to wait on them, seems like the smartest drafting route.

Some clubs have caught these kids late and there is NO doubt about it, that some of these guy would be high lottery picks with just one year of college. I mean I saw everyone of Rudy Gays games, I dont see any difference where Gay is that much better than Outlaw. Maybe as they progress, but they have close to the same talent level.

Portland has made some errors and have had a bad season. But they have a foundation there. Pryzbila is young. Heck if Pryzbila was in the draft this year, he'd probably go top 5. He's a load.

We should now give our younger players---i.e Sweetney Butler Ariza more PT, there is no reason not to. I say shut down KT so he can start healing and cut down on Marbury's minutes so that we can get a good look at Crawford running the PG.

Agreed! other than Bogut, Gerald Green will have the greatest impact on our future. If if he doesn't explode on to the seen right away like Lebron, Amare. If he can progress the way Outlaw is progressing then we're set. And he's a much better offensive player while Outlaw is more of a superfreak athlete. I wouldn't mind at all if he took a year to develop like McGrady(who he's compared to) and Kobe took when they exploded in their 2nd year!

I still think Green will go somewhere between 3-4 when all is said and done

I remember reading about Outlaw's workouts last year. He was so long and his vert so high he could touch the top of the backboard when he jumped.

yeah, I remember outlaw too, I think I predicted that he was going to dominate the nba or some crazyness like that... well at least it turns out his athleticism isn't all for naught... he might just become a pretty good player

I really believe Gerald Green has more upside because of his ability to score at 6'8 as a SG like McGrady.

I remember outlaw well, my buddy is from mississippi, and follows HS ball a lot, outlaw is very athletic and long, but has the BBIQ of an orange.... what I like about ariza is how he uses his head to play the game instead of using his skill all the time, outlaw relys soley on athleticism.. I am not too impressed with him, and you know how I feel about pryzbilla, that lopsided head doof..

we got beat because of pryzbilla and outlaw, no doubt about it. pryzbilla clogged the lane and outlaw was very good.
pryzbilla would start for 25 out of 30 teams right now, including the Knicks

no question! he's a fine shotblocker/rebounder a lot better than hunter/gadzuric but Joel is only a free agent after next season

Pryzbilla was a monster. He killed us on the boards in the 4th. The guy obviously has developed into a starting quality center.

we also got beat because of patterson and miles, so what, I will tell yoy this, that over the last 12 games in which the blazers lost 11 of those, outlaw and miles were building projects with all the bricks they were throwing up and Pryzbilla could not get out of his own way.. come on man, these are out knicks we have a knack of making scrubs look good, ask Brian Cardinal...

And saying that pryzbilla would start for 25 teams in the leauge is just an idictment of how few big men are left, heck even greg ostertag started for the jazz, Big deal, pryzbilla is a clown, this guy does not fool me at all, and I will tell you this, he would not start on miami,Washington, Grizzlies, Denver, spurs, Rockets, NJ,kings, and pacers, so I don't know where you get this 25 out of 30.. Oh and I will throw the clippers in that bunch also, Kaman is better than that big clown..
