Splitter looks real skinny & gets knocked around pretty easily...he's got pretty good movement & can get to the hole, but not sure he's the type of player this team needs unless we get rid of Tim Thomas in the offseason...we need a bruising, defensive type player.

Milos doesn't look all that great to me...he doesn't move w/o the ball at all...all those Steve Nash comparisons were severely overblown from this limited showing i have of Vujanic's game, though obviously this isn't a fair sample.

i'll give more analysis as the game goes on.

hmmm he's really getting knocked around? You think he can put on some muscle? He is only 20. I'm more interested in his skills at this point. if he has good footspeed and can shoot, play D and block shots then I think he'll be a good pick.

Splitter had a nice 2 handed slam over Bagaric & gave him a look...he's got some moxy, but consider who he just posterized...i don't think he'd do the same to a Shaq or Ben Wallace. ;)

Milos can shoot the 3 in transition...he's got a nice stop & pop form...his defense isn't all that, but he's got good size at the point...seems more like a poorman's Kirk Hinrich than a Steve Nash to me.

i don't know guns...he seems to have a SF offensive style game, or at the very best a wannabe Pau Gasol...definitely not a Kirilenko type player like we would all love...i don't see great defensive instincts so far from what i can tell, & he isn't blocking many shots either, though that may be attributed to Milos taking shots from the perimeter...he's at least alot more mobile & athletic than Lampe was though, if that's worth anything.

Splitter has good man up defense on smaller, more mobile players though...his man couldn't get past him on the baseline & he got up to contest the shot well.

i figured he's be a cross between Pau/dirk. You don't think after putting on muscle he can play Center for us the way Pau would if he came to the Knicks?

because if he can't then Vazquez can't either and I rather would rather take the best player available regardless of position. That player might still be Splitter/Vasquez though..who knows?

I'll take a Pau-like Center if he can play center for us after putting on muscle. Vazquez is more like Kirilenko..less skilled offensively but a great shotblocker but's he's 1inch shorter than Splitter so he might definitely be a PF and not a center like Kirilenko. Splitter is almost 7ft in sneakers. Dirk could play Center if he was more of a defensive player. So if Splitter plays some D...he might

TMS, I def. agree with you. That facial dunk he had was nice, but thats about all I saw from him. I agree totally with everything you said, I think he's best suited for NBA SF.

You gotta trust me, you cant make a orange a apple just by painting it orange. The guy doesnt play a PF/C game, he runs well, he shoots but he doesn't go down in the blocks and he doesnt exactly throw his height around out there. Look at whats happened with Tsktizivitti, Denver tried doing that with him and he never worked out and they just gave up on him. He was the 5th pick in the draft and Denver has nothign to show for it.

you definitely have to be strong to play Center/PF in the nba. thats why guys like Amare, KG, Pau pull it off. Guys who aren't strong enough play SF/PF like Dirk. Dirk gets gets raped when he plays Center. I just I'll abandon the notion of Splitter having a remote chance of being an NBA Center. Now if only we can see Vazquez, Petro & the 7'3 Andriuskevicius to see if they are psychical enough.

If we can somehow get Gerald Green or another good SG and one of these big guys I will be thrilled! I really hope we can get another mid 1st round pick somehow!

Def. bro, I still want Chris Taft with the Knicks lottery pick, I really think he's going to be a very good big man in the NBA becuase of his postup game, midrange game, and defensive skills. If Isiah can somehow acquire another pick to pickup one of the highend SG's in college or somehow Green, this draft would already be a immediate success and then they still have that late 1st round pick too.... this draft has huge potential for the Knicks.

I would not mind Taft at all since some guys here think he can play center for us at a legitimate 6'10 and even if he can't but still developes into a great PF offensively and defensively then we can't go wrong with a 6'10 guy. What I like about him is that he's a much better offensive & skilled player than Chris Wilcox. We really can't go wrong either way as long as Isiah finds a good player. If we dont wind up with a good center after this draft then we can always use the MLE for a decent one while drafting the best player available or the guy Isiah thinks will be a great player for us!

Cornell David seems to be the go to guy for Splitter's team down the stretch...Splitter's on the bench...don't know if he's injured or not but it might be noteworthy that the team isn't going to Splitter in a close game.

Vujanic on the other hand, is the go to guy for his team...he might have made a decent NBA player...can't understand why he doesn't want to come over here.

if Milos really is a good player than Layden's eye for talent is not that bad after all. If Milos happened to ever become a good nba player then that move would've been right up there with Isiah drafting Ariza. Since they were both steals for picks in the 40s! its so frustrating that Milos doesn't come here to play!
