It would make sense if the knicks go after a player like speedy claxton. i think he fits into where the knicks want to go. a few years ago he play d on marbury pretty good in the play-offs. Chris duhon is also a free agent who would can distribute the ball, run and play d. other availables are tyronn lue, bobby jackson, nick van exel, damon stoudamire, darryl armstrong, dan dickau, juan dixon, gary payton and lindsey hunter.

duhon would be a great fit, i would have no problem with him being the knicks back-up point guard. he'd be our best perimeter defender if he was a knick.

I think Frankie would be a great fit. He brings a little size and toughness to the PG spot. Kid was a great defender, I think if we can't get a big time 2 guard (If Craw has actually learned how to play and this isn't just a good stretch we may not need one) picking up Antonio Daniels may be the best fit out there in FA...Big, Strong, can play both positions, great defender, can score in many ways...not afraid to come off the bench and he knows his role.

But Frankie would still be a great fit, too.

I think the way to go is to get a good shooting guard to start and use Crawford to back up both positions.

i want a Mike James, Lindsey Hunter type player who will bring energy off the bench & be a defensive presence on the perimeter...someone who will flourish in an uptempo style game.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Hell yeah. He was tough defensively and did well for us. I'd take him back.
