I thought these stats were impressive for a 19 year old rookie:

30 games: 25.3MPG, 9.4 PPG, 4.7RPG, 1.8APG, 1.17Stls, 0.27blks

He's also gotten better as the season has progressed. His last 13 20+ min games are really impressive:

27.4MPG, 11.1PPG, 5.0RPG, 1.4APG, 1.15Stls, 0.31Blks

Of course it doesn't mean he'd get these stats if he played this many minutes every night, but I'm still quiet pleased with Ariza.

what are Sweetney's stats when he gets 20+ minutes I bet its at least 9pts 7rebs with amazing FG% and free throw attempts. He's gotta lose weight though in order to play the entire season at a high level. He has slowed down recently

I think Fish posted the stats a while ago and they were pretty impressive too. Ariza's a more well-rounded player, though, already at age 19.

I obviously have too much time on my hands since I did all these calculations.

I think Ariza is playing some of his best ball of season right now. His shooting percentage is looking real good this month. The game against Boston was one of his best all around games.

I mentioned this on another thread I think, but I like the fact that he's sort of come under the wing of JYD. He's bring the same enthusiasm, hustle, heart and positive attitude towards the games...

Yeah, I agree with the JYD comment
