Martin or Andrew: can one of you guys edit the title, it should be Let the road trip begin not Lets...Thanks

It's also on ESPN, so all of you people who can't see the games on TV, because of Time Warner shouldn't have a problem.

I was reading an article in USA Today the other day that said Allen and Radmonavic might not play. I hadn't seen anything saying they had been injured prior to that, but has anyone heard anything to confirm or disprove that? It was a couple days ago when they brought up, so things easily could have changed.

Anyway, Knicks win 117-111
Ariza 15 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and solid defense on Allen and/or Lewis
Sweeteny 19 points, 12 rebounds
Marbury 16 points, 9 assists, 3 steals
Crawford 32 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists

Hopefully...they paid Channel 47 off the last time that happened. I will be quiet annoyed if they block the channel all together.

Our players are on a high right now, and it will carry over through the road trip...at least for tonight for sure...Our boys are going to play with a killing mentality, and they will show the league that they are much improved...They are hungry and have a pretty big appetite...

Marb 30/6 boards/8 assists
Crawf 10/10
TT 22/8
Mo 15/8
Malik 10/12
Kurt 8/15
Ariza 12/3
We will showup defensively also....

NYTimes says that Vlad Rad will not play and Ray Allen may rest his sprained ankle. Also, apparently, Odom isn't playing due to an injured shoulder.

If the Knicks could take advantage of this and go 3-1 (I think the Warriors game will be the hardest game with these injuries), that would be great.

EDIT: okay, apparently Ray Allen played last night, but Rashard Lewis went down with tendonitis in his knee. This could be a huge win.

I agree about the Warriors game. the sonics/lakers should be easier. We had the sonics beat the other day if we didn't collapse for the 36th time this season

come on now, we've only collapsed like 26 times. Those other 11 teams actually beat us fair and square.

We've been playing hard lately and if we continue to do so, I don't see any reason why this team would not be able to get a win tonight. I know it sounds simple, but for the most part it is true. When this team puts out a great effort (especially on the defensive end), we are a very tough team to beat. We need Crawford to have a good game tonight on both ends. The last time we played this team Ray Allen was abusing Crawford early on and luckily for us we kept him in check for the rest of that game. Crawford has to do a decent job of preventing Allen from getting wide open shots like last time and he needs to give us something offensively whether its setting other people up a lot or taking good shots and knocking them down.
"This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)

I don't know what to expect, just because it's the road and the only time all year they've looked good on the road was in December.

the ex-factor will be our bench, because Crawf will be psyched up to play infront of his home folks...Our bench has to come and contribute, especially in the second half......

we shouldn't underestimate seattle, although a win on the road tonight against them would REALLY show that this team has turned around, given a lot of our "big" victories have come at home recently

since the all star break, the knicks have been trounced 3 times on the road. the sole road win was vs. the hawks.

we are 7-22 on the road.

i expect a loss but hope for a win.

VERY possible to go 0-4 in this trip but 1-3 seems more likely.

a loss tonight would not be good.

Portland and the Lakers are playing horrible bball. They are both in the midst of 7 game losing streaks. GS is playing much better ball lately, but that's still a winnable game. Things could fall apart again, but I think its reasonable to think the Knicks can win 2 of the next 4, even with the road woes...

I hate to say it, but you're right. 1-3 is likely; 2-2 would be an accomplishment; 3-1 would be huge. If by some chance we were to sweep, the mayor should give Herb the key to the city.
