Heat fan here -starting to like the Knicks

I'm still not a fan of Tim, Penny, Stephon, or Jamal, but I really can't help but like some of the players that Zeke is bringing in.

Trevor Ariza, Maurice Taylor, Jerome Williams, Michael Sweetney, and in particular Malik Rose are nice players to have. I don't care about Taylor, JYD, or Rose's salaries, I think all those players are guys you want on your team (maybe not al at once, but you get the idea).

I've never been a fan of Taylor's but he really seems to be taking well to a bench role this season.

Ariza is just sick. That kid can flat out play. He needs work still, but he's going to be a starter in this league, and a valuable one, assuming he can get a consistent mid-range game.

Malik Rose is one of my favorite players - always has been. I was really hoping Pat Riley would find a way to snag him, but I won't complain about what Riley's done for Miami.

I'll admit, when you first made these moves, I scratched my head. Too many power forwards. But then, I saw the product on the court. I cannot argue with what Rose and Ariza, in particular, bring to your team. Nice stuff. I'm impressed.

Zeke still needs to get the backcourt sorted out (I think either Marbury or Crawford needs to go), and figure out how to land a true center, but their's potential there, IMO. Picks and smart use of the MLE and you guys can be a very good team again.

I hope this didn't sound like rambling, but I really respect some of the guys on your team...

Thank you! While it was always easy to hate the Heat, this knick fan grew to apprciate Mournings work ethic and his last years with the heat he seemed to temper his attitude and be more productive.

Of course his Net act was very stupid!

We used to bench mark the season as: If you can't win it all, at least stop the Heat and Pat Riley!

Riles was a master at snagging Odom and thus had a trading chip to bring in Shaq. I have tried to hate Shaq for years but the guy is just a great player, and a very likable personality! I fell out laughing when he called Kobe "Fredo" the other day!

Wade is the real deal and a pleasure to watch, and any Van Gundy rising up to win a ring is totally cool in my book! Those boys learned will from their Pops, and Riles was smart to tap into that family!

While our Knicks are likely lotto bound, I will cheer the Heat on win. It would make Kobe look bad!

Heat-Rockets would be a great match up. Yao-Shaq, Wade-T-mac and Jeff-Stan! Great drama. I just don't think Yao and T-mac have the heart!

I respected his game, but hated him, Timbug, and PJ Brown!

I liked when we beat them best!

This current team just very different.

I first saw the thread and thought, "Why the hell would I care what they think?"...but I found myself clicking it anyway.
It was pretty good to read, especially I was expecting some low blows from 'em.
