I know that this dude has been very productive for the Knicks, and I also know that his fans will probably shoot for my head, but I do believe that the time has come for the Knicks to experiment with our bigs...we have a real 7' as Center, but he never gets in the game...I know that some of think that his game is garbage, but I want to judge this kid after perhaps 20 minutes in 5 games....We now have ANOTHER YOUNGIN in JB whom happens to have a lot of potentials, We should keep both Penny and Kurt out and see what our young boys can do...........

Holla at me...

you are the craziest dude ever man... kurt thomas is a nice asset to the team and you want to keep him out. he's a great perimeter shooter and makes big guys go out which allows the guards to get in the paint. besides he is the best guy to set the pick and roll.
Marbury is finally home at MSG!

I agree. The bright bulbs on this board want to see us make the playoffs and lose in the first round.. then get the (drum roll) the 15th pick !!! I'd rather be choosing among Green, Vasquez, Paul, and Bogut.. size will go fast. We need some size and athleticism. JUST Lose baby! ... develop trevor and sweets.. see what we have in Butler and Sundov. Why not? Kurt is not the answer, except as a role player. I'm with you.

At this point in the season why not.

Play the young guys and sink or swim with them.

We know what KT can do, so considering this season is a waste, why not find what the rest of the bigs can do in consistent minutes.

I for one think that Bruno is garbage, what if he isnt? He has not been cut all year, so he must be doing something right in practice. Play him and Butler and see what happens.

They suck, cut them, they don't great, we know what we have.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

If the Knicks make the playoffs and Isiah decides to keep our draft pick rather than include the player in a trade, I assume he's not gonna go for an established college player with limited upside and limited downside (someone like Nick Collison). I assume he'll "go for the gold" and take a gamble on an unnoticed high school or European kid (someone more like Al Jefferson), who would have star potential.

If he's a "fool" then why do you care about his opinion?

KURT COULD BE SHELVED FOR 2ND STRAIGHT GAME

By EVAN GROSSMAN
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

March 23, 2005 -- The Knicks are in danger of playing a second straight game without iron man Kurt Thomas when the Celtics invade the Garden tonight. Thomas sat out Monday's 88-75 win over the Spurs, did not practice yesterday and remains day-to-day with a left elbow bursitis infection.

"I'm not sure," Knicks head coach Herb Williams said of Thomas' availability tonight. "It's still day-to-day, so we'll see how he feels [today] and then evaluate and go from there."
