I still remember Ewing taking that turn-around 3-point shot up in Boston. Ah, those were the playoff days when you could actually SEE THE KNICKS ON TV.

lol

this is going to be a big game. Celtics are really good but we're at home and desperate. We gotta win this game especially with everyone slipping out of the playoffs.

Now that Penny is injured, I look for three guys to have a major impact guarding all of Boston's guards (Davis and Pierce), those three guys are: Ariza, JYD, and Rose....If we can slow Pierce and Davis to maybe 15 points each, and allow our front court to force Walker into taking crazy shots, we will win tomorrow...

I really resent that Boston is playing well. I especially resent that Ainge got Walker back for nothing and he's playing well!!! I am still sick to my stomach about the Yankees losing 4 straight and it is not helping to have to watch the freaking Celtics win games.

who the heck should we root for tonight at continental?

the Pacers or Nets?

Pacers lead 16-12

I think we need the Nets to win more as much as i'd hate to ever root for them

The last time we played the celtics...it was pretty bad. They walked all over us to put it nicely. I think we do have a chance at winning this one but we need to slow down their pace A LOT and take control of the game. That means play defense! ...which we've been doing. It helps that we're playing at home.

Anyone else feel like ppl hate on the games we've won these past few weeks? Like they're not legit wins because players on the opposing teams have been injured? Or how they completely disregard the fact Houston's been in the IL for what seems like forever (and no matter what anyone says, even if he's just standing in one spot on the floor all game, no D, no nothing, he's still a threat when it comes to scoring) I think one or two wins could be considered 'lucky' but with 7 wins since the trade, luck doesn't have a thing to do with it

I have two friends who are ready to pounce on me every time the knicks lose.....Thank goodness the lakers lost Shaq and the kings traded Webber...lol..anytime my friend starts... i just rub the webber trade in. HHaaaaaa!

The last game against Boston was when Crawford went out. A week later the Knicks went on to the disaster we called January 2005. I hate the Boston area sports teams. I cannot stand the red sox and I cannot stand the Celtics. I want this game. GO NY GO NY GO!!

If he is standing there all by himself and someone feeds him the ball and all he has to do is jumpshoot then yes, he, like almost every other player in the NBA is a threat to score.

that was 15 years ago, truly one of the best moments in knicks history.

Celtics are a tough match up for Knicks and they arent injured. We've been VERY fortunate[or we can also say not to fortunate in another respect]that we have been playing many teams that seem to be missing their best players.

i remember asking whether that game 5 was better than the game 5 vs. the heat a couple of weeks ago. i'm partial to this one b/c we lost something like 40+ games in a row till this game and it was against bird, parrish, mchale. we already played miami a million times and we had more talent but that boston game...man, we were down 0-2 and nobody gave us a chance.

i remember when ewing was running down the ball in the corner, stu jackson was screaming "SHOOT IT! SHOOT IT!!"

I wish you werent being sarcastic. His career FG% (44.5%) does seem to be only a tad bit better than today's average FG% for a jumpshooter.

thats the truth! 44% is not that good for a jumpshooter. should be at least 46 or 48%

It's funny - there are flyers posted up around the city this morning advertising bars that are carrying tonight's game.
