if the team is trying to make the playoffs, will Sweetney or Rose start at PF? Sweetney's play lately is not helping his cause, whereas Rose's is. And Rose is the dependable veteran. I wouldn't be surprised if he started over Sweetney or at least got more mpg than Sweetney.

that's a good point...i was extremely disappointed watching Sweetney's play last night...he looked totally out of synch, was making dumb fouls, & wasn't a factor at all in the game...Malik Rose was outplaying him by leaps & bounds...i wouldn't be surprised at all to see Rose starting at PF once KT comes back if he keeps this up.

Rose' only gripe in San Antonio was that he wasn't a starter.

Me thinks he will either be starting for us next year or traded over the summer...

I noticed that too. He really has to start trimming that weight. I think he should officially be labelled at fat. He was just a big dude earlier, but now he's fat.

penny and kurt out...sounds like a summer theme to me.

Though, I'm a kurt fan. if he can be packaged, we should definitely investigate.

Sweetney's propensity to get into foul trouble is killing him right now. He should stay as the starter, but he obviously has to get in shape and stop getting so many fouls. I don't think you can view Rose as a starter...he had a nice game last night, but is ultimately too limited. He's been a poor finisher inside (he's missed an unusual amount of layups since he's been here), and he's not a post threat at all. We need the balance of having a post threat out there...
