It's on right now....only guys that tear their ACL's get to watch stuff like this at this time(unless you work mid-nights)

All I have to say is Bernard King.

The play-by-play guys were talking about how great the Knicks would be once they get King back with Cartwright and Ewing. Pat Cummings, Rot Sparrow, Darrel Walker, Gerald Wilkins, Tucker, Bannister, Ernie Grunfeld(yeah he was a Knick).....there were alot of good role players on the Knicks at the time.

One thing they did mention was that Bernard wasn't with the team while he was rehabing. They were igorant to the ACL injuries at the time. I think the Knicks gave up too easily on Bernard King....they owed him a chance to come back or retire as a Knick for all he did for the Knicks.

The Knicks had a championship team on their hands and they let it go. They gave up on King. 20 years ago comming all the way back from an ACL injury was unheard of. It was supposed to be a career ending injury. Bernard King was one of the first to come back....He not only came back but he became an all-star again.

FUCK!!!!!!

I had to turn the game off man......it's too emotional. The Knicks ended up trading Cartwright for Oakley. They drafted Mark Jackson. When King came back they would have had:

Oakley
King
Ewing
Jax
Gerald Wilkins

That is a championship team right there.

This is why I drinketh of the Isiah aide people. I am dying for a taste of a MSG champion. I truly believe I will not be a complete person if I die without experiencing a Knick champion.

RETIRE #30!!!!!

I got the guys rookie card. Knick fan for life bro!!!

King is still my all time favorite. But it just goes to show the impatience of NY. We also broke up a possible Strickland/Ewing or Jackson/Ewing career bond because we were too impatient. Drives me crazy.
I just hope that people will like me

Rod Strickland too....he's my favorite point guard of all time! No lie. I think I really did cry when Rod Strickland was traded....I was still a kid then. My dad was excited to get Cheeks but when the season started and Cheeks was kinda washed up he changed his mind.
