Did anyone watch the Duke game yesterday? Against Sheldon Williams and Duke... he had 17 points, 11 rebounds, 4 blocked shots, 3 assists. Not an overwhelming stat line.

Seeing him play againt Randolph and Williams, he looked taller than them both. He's listed at 6'9.. it's probably a legit 6'9. He has a big frame, long wingspan, can get off the floor, and moves really well.. Roberts showed he can handle the ball on the perimeter, with some crossovers and spin moves into the lane to draw fouls. He had with a decent stroke from the outside, although his percentage wasn't great. The kicker was his defense inside. He gave nothing in the paint, moved his feet well, and had that shot blocker anticipation and mentality. I'd put him in Sheldon Williams' class as a prospect. His size and athleticicm with offensive skill are intriguing.

Can anyone add something here? nbadraft.net has him late in the second. CBS sportsline mentions him as a possible lottery pick. I see the later as more probable, unless he is very inconsistent.

I've always been impressed by him. He doesn't get much love. From what I've read he's a 6'9 Center not a PF. The knock is he has no perimeter game. But he is a good player who will find a niche somewhere...

Yes, I could see him as a defensive Center (not best scenario).. his body was bigger than Williams and Randolph. SO I could see him as a good post defender. He has potential to develop on the perimeter because he has a handle. His stroke is sound, he has a mid-range game.
