1. We have 5 undersized PF', just like with Layden.

2. We have a no defense, no rebounding, no leadership, soft, choker for our star, just like with Layden.

3. We are way over the cap with no help on the way, just like with layden.

4. We have a terrible, coach, the second coming of Don Chaney, just like with layden.

Yet, somehow, IT is better then Layden.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

We better sticky this one right away .
I'm not going to say Isiah for GM of the year, but he is better than Layden.
We're in the process of getting younger. Our star is a 27/28 year old explosive scorer vs. a 32 year old jumpshooter. We brought in another young starter in Crawford. We have Trevor and Sweetney getting meaningful minutes (would like to see them get more, but their usually out there when it counts, not just garbage minutes).
Our coach who you're saying is terrible is just interim. He was given the rest of this season to prove himself before Zeke goes out and makes a run for a big name coach.
Of the 5 PFs, 2 of them are high energy guys, which are never bad to have, one of them coming with 2 draft picks. That Mo Taylor trade still bugs me, but I would like to assume it's part of a bigger plan that we can't see yet. Sweets I hope is staying around here for a while, whereas I would be surprised if Kurt isn't traded this offseason.
No way I can attempt to defend the cap situation, but we can only wait to see what happens over the next few years with the expiring contracts.

Now that the Knicks Playoff hopes are dead, can we please focus on losing so we can get in a better position for the draft?

It honestly doesn't upset me that they are losing this game vs the Heat quite honestly...Like I said, it's best for them to not make the playoffs. If they have any miracle to make the 8th seed, they will get spanked and swept in four games. Sad indeed.

the best thing is to lose every freaking game from here on out. At least get a good pick. Isiah can draft, Layden didnt, but so far thats it. Maybe for once we can draft a player like Wade rather than get our asses handed to us by one.

THIS IS THE BIGGEST STRETCH OF A COMPARISON THAT I'VE EVER SEEN IN THIS LIFE.

nimrod doesn't understand the concept of you can't build a dynasty in 1 year so you will have to just "look over him" from time to time

regardless of those points- IT was able to trade for two outstanding players- Marbury & Crawford.

What kind of talent did Layden ever bring in?

Shandon Anderson, Howard Eisley, Weatherspoon, McDyess?

I'm willing to bet all my worldly possessions that Isiah would never agree to accept Anderson or Eisley or Weatherspoon as aquisitions or free agents.

Hey andrew, why no "this is childish" statement for the nimrod comment?

Or are you just monitoring me...on another note, I'm glad others are seeing that nimrod is crazy after losses.

Aren't the Heat DOMINATING the entire league?

Yeah, herb, after 20 games can't coach the knicks over the heat on the road...so he's the WORST EVER.

Why do some on this forum have bipolar? Give it a rest already.

Unless there is Isiah shows that he has a long term plan for a championship team, then fire him. No more of this hoping for the playoffs nonsense.

how about this: Isiah is doing a better job than layden, but Isiah is not doing a GOOD job. Its not hard to be better than layden was, but in terms doing a good job, I don't think Isiah is quite there yet.

Its fair to have an opinion that Isiah is making a mess of things.

Its also fair to not expect miricle and I don't think anyone is asking for Isiahs head yet. I do hope Isiah can undo this mess that is our roster. Same way I hoped for Layden to do the same.
