Bogut and Utah are stuck in a tough one against UTEP right now. 52-52 with 2:52 to go. Bogut is having a whale of a game but has missed too many free throws.

He won't be appreciated until he is does damage in the NBA. He's the best C prospect since Shaq + Zo if we call Tim Duncan a PF. He's 4 miles ahead of the next player taken in the draft. I think Bogut is what Detoit thought they had in Darko, it's a good comparison-both 7-1 245, but Bogut plays with fire and he's fundamentally+mentally on a different plane.

Look that Utah team isnt good, yet his presence takes up so much of the oppositions players energy, they wear down.

When i say he will score 25-27 a game in his prime, it so easy to see, the guy has such touch around the basket, it's just a matter of attempts. Think Kurt Thomas is supposed to be such a great defender, he's 4 inches shorter.

The new superstars of the nBA are Lebron Wade Bosh Howard and Bogut will be in that class. Imagine the Magic winning the lottery and having Bogut at C and Howard at PF. the Bobcats are very high on their C who is also young 7-1 250, so they likely would be interested in a Marvin williams or Paul.

thats about it, we would need to get position 1-2 and if we got 2 hope that Charlotte had 1.

ah yes, we did spend our bogus 30mm$ extra at the deadline so we can win just enough games to get a 10 spot and have no chance!

then we havent considered the fact that malik is 32-33 next year along with most of the roster!

It's a pipe dream, but a high-low offense with Bogut and Sweetney would be murder to defend. You couldn't double both. Put some shooters and cutters with them and you have an incredible O.

I agree that Bogut is the best big man prospect since Duncan. The guy IS the game out there. Everything revolves around him. Other teams play in fear of him, and Utah basically has nothing without him out there. The play that stuck out to me was towards the end of the first half. Bogut came up with a big steal and sent a beautiful outlet pass out on the break that got Utah an easy bucket. He has terrific court sense out there.

If the Utes upset Oklahoma next round everyone will be on the bandwagon.

I've never seen Bogut play, but I've always found it weird to see people shooting well from 3 pt range, yet have a poor night at the FT line

Had a glimpse of Bogut yesterday. Dude attracts defenders like crazy. He is not double-teamed, he is triple-teamed most of the time.

I didn't catch the whole game but also noticed that... and he passed really well out of that double/triple teaming, but his teammates let him down on more than one occasion. Dude will work out nicely in the NBA if he can keep that up.

Watch Eddie Basden in this CHarlotte-NC St. Game. He is the best perimeter defender in college bball. Right now people are saying he might go rd.2, but I think he's the kind of player that may move into the late first round slot we are picking in.

If Bogut's steammates do anything they can win this. They were great in the beginning. Right now Utah keeps turning it over.

A 6 10 lightpost would be a better rebounder then TT.

I've been talking about Nate Robinson for two years. He's so strong and so fast that he can oput teams on their heals both ways. He pushes the ball, you cant steal it from him, hes a solid shooter and can finish at the rim like he was 6-3 and on the D, he's in your grill and you cant stop it. And because hes strong and quick, hes a good rebounder.
this guy will redefine little man in the nba from what we have seen. anyone who chooses robinson, likely 20 and back[but you never know] is getting a really really good player. no bust material there, no way.

i see nate robinson all the time because i go to a pac-10 school, and he really is a player i'd like to get late 1st round early 2nd...hes got a lot of heart, hes an incredible athlete (recruited to play cornerback at washington, primarily a football school). this guy has incredible ups, is one of the fastest players in college basketball (up there with dee brown, chris paul), and has good court vision. considering we have no real backup point, i think nate would fit in great here

Mississippi State PF, Lawrence Roberts is a player with tremendous athleticism and effort. He is giving Duke fits right now. Strong and a willing defender. His stock should be on the rise.

one more thing about nate - i know him and jamal crawford are pretty close (they both went to the same hs - rainer beach), and jamal is close to will conroy (one of the leaders for that UW team) and actually lived with him for a few years because of family problems. Although I have a feeling Seattle will pick him late 1st round, because nate is a hero in seattle and they could use a backup point guard, i'd target him with the suns pick this year.
