From Hoopshype.com:
"Phil Jackson said Jerry Krause is likely to make a play for Los Angeles Clippers restricted free-agent center Michael Olowokandi this summer, according to Sports Illustrated. Jackson said Krause has been intrigued by Olowokandi since his days at Pacific, although the 7-foot, 270-pounder will come at a steep price. According to the article, Olowokandi's agent, Bill Duffy, will seek the max for his client, which means a seven-year deal starting at $10.6 million. The Bulls will have nearly $5 million in cap space this summer."
This could be good for the Knicks, because the Clips would need a center and might trade for Camby, who is underpriced at 4 million. I would say Richardson and Maggette are untouchable, but I'd take Odom in that deal. And also, they should have two lottery picks this year, Knicks might be able to get one of them if they threw in Othella Harrington or Lavor Postell. Thoughts?
