I'm an advocate for rebuiding thru the draft. So my dream line up for next season (a realistic one) is this:

PG: Marb(28)/ Craw(25)/ N. Robinson(21)
SG: Granger or Graham(22)/ Craw/ Penny(34)
SF: TT(28)/ Ariza(20)
PF: Sweetney(22)/ JYD(32)/ Taylor(29)
C: KT(32)/ Rose(31)
IL: Houston (34)/ Butler(20)/ Nick fazekas(20)

-----

But I was looking at Chris Wilcox, and I really liked him when he was playing big minutes early in the season covering for Chris Kaman. I mean he had some good games. Why is he in the dog house playing 0-10 min in the past 20+ games? Does anyone know?

Now, I'm not proposing this, but what do you think about trading our 2 first round picks for Wilcox, and have him play C? We do this only if we can move KT for a decent SG or pick (then draft a SG). He's only 22, and if he trains with Aguirre, couldn't he be a decent C in the East?

PG: Marb(28)/ Craw(25)/ N. Robinson(21)
SG: Granger or Graham(22)/ Penny (34)
SF: TT(28)/ Ariza(20)
PF: Sweetney(22)/ JYD(32) / Taylor(29)
C: Wilcox(22)/ Rose(31)
IL: Houston (34) /Butler(20)

If we can move TT & Penny for youth/picks, great. If not, their contracts should left to expire.

I'd love it if :

1. Isiah buys a pick from somewhere,
2. and trade KT (or JYD) for another pick

Then we'd have 4 first round picks and a second rounder. Surely, Isiah would be able to trade up with this many picks.

Bogut!

It is imperative to get rid of all of Layden's old players. Kurt, Houston, and even Sweet...I like Sweet a lot, but if trading him will help us get a real Center, so be it...We have a lot of needs that will be imperative to address, especially at SG and Center....This draft is not too special, but we should be able to find us a couple of really good players to solidify our squad...I hope that Isiah is able to draft NBA ready kids to come in and play right away.

Kurt has to go
Houston can't be allowed to hang around like he did this year
Sweetney???? I am very inclined on keeping him, but he is undersize at PF and very skilled///

how about keep Sweetney and draft a center since their aren't any good centers out there to be had? unless you're content with Steven hunter!

I think that our team will look totally different upfront by next season...Isiah will not go through another season without a shotblocker in the middle, especially with our backcourt as poor of a defensive twosome...judging by the moves that he made at the trade deadline, chances are that he might trade Sweetney for Curry or higher draft pick...He has scouted Pietro, and chances are that he will draft two big men and a McGrady type of guard with crazy handling and athletic...
