Antoine had very few supporters, but Fish was always Antoine's strongest supporter here. A lot of people hate Antoine; I've always been neutral toward him. But he's helping that Celtics so much that it's time for people to look at all the wonderful things Walker can do on the court rather than the few limitations he does have. Just wanted to give credit where credit was due (to both Antoine and Fish).

yeah because Antoine is longer playing stupid. He hasn't taken nearly as many 3's this go around with the Celtics. He plays under control now. Hopefully someday Crawford will do the same.

I think Walker liked it in boston and Ainge trading him really helped him mature. and now that he is back in boston as opposed to atlanta he is estatic and will do whatever it takes to impress the team and fans. That is why he is playing smart imo! He would've been nice in New york with Marbury.

I never had a problem with Antoine, he puts up great numbers and he fills up the stat sheet nite and nite out. I dont care how hard he plays though, the Celtics are not beating the Pistons or the Heat in the playoffs so its all for naught.

walker's good, it definitely helped the celtics they didn't have to give up payton to get him. i'm glad we didn't end up with him, he's good at what he does but totally not what we would have needed.

I think a better fit in Boston than he would have been here.

Too bad we couldn't loan some players out to the Hawks and then bring them back hungry.

Actually I was right, Fish just jumped on my bandwagon and has been taking credit ever since. Just because I've been away for a while doesn't mean that you can start giving credit to Fish for my genius. Bonn, you should know better.

I honestly don't think Antoine is any smarter. You can trace the amount of threes that Antoine took directly to O'brien. He didn't take a lot before he got there, took a lot when he was there, and stopped taking them as much after he got away from him. He was a product of the system he is playing for. He isn't a superstar, but this guy has never deserved the ridicule that he has received. Some players because of situations they get in early in their careers just can never get away from the negativity no matter what they do.

Antoine Walker can go back to being Antoine now that Kenyon is in the West Conf

Antoine's a better player than K-Mart. I think K-Mart's been limited by knee tendinitis, which is only going to continue to get worse as he ages and plays more games.

K-Mart was a different, healthier player back then. Now he's a role player with bum knees and five years on a max contract

I know everyone's gonna kill me here for saying this, but I think the Celtics have a solid shot against the Heat in the playoffs. The Heat are a two man team while the Celtics have a ton of depth and a lot of big men to throw at Shaq. I think Blount, LaFrentz, and Al Jefferson can hold Shaq to his 20/10 averages while Walker, Pierce, Ricky Davis, and Payton can severely outplay Wade plus the no-name players on the Heat.

Walker was a major chucker in Boston, got traded, learned his lesson and got his old job back. Some players respond and some dont.Id rather pass on those types of players and stick with the ones that have proved themselves. At least when it comes to veterans.
