What do you guys think of him? No one talks about the guy. He's a senior.

He's a Center. I think he is pretty mobile for a dude 7'1" 255......Absolutely no one is talking about this guy. I think because of his size and mobility someone will take a chance and draft him..... He has a good motor and gets up and down pretty well. He has good size and takes up nice space.

From what I see in Luke he is not really a post up guy but he can score when they go to him. Georgia Tech is a perimeter team and they have always been. He's not awkward at all. I think he could be a nice player. His stats don't jump out at you but I never see him play a bad game when I see him live on TV. I actually expected his stats to be a little more in the scoring and rebounding department.

What do you guys think of this guy? Not for the 1st pick but maybe the late 1st or second rounder if the Knicks still have it this year.

enyspree, I live here in georgia, and we dog schensure all the time, he is a stiff scrub, I would take that taylor coppenrath not having even seen him play over luke, luke misses layups all the time under the hoop and he is 7'1, the guy flat out stinks!!!
He doesn't rebound, he can't post up and he is slow getting his shot off, he probably gets his shot blocked more than spoon did...

Well you are our ATL resident expert so I'll take your word for it.

But Stiff? I think that's too harsh. From what I've see the dude is pretty mobile. Do you think he gets the bum wrap because of Georgia Techs offense?

nah, man, Tech wants to go down low, but luke is soft, cant get position, and he misses a lot of easy shots down low, he also gets a lot of layups blocked or he misses, believe me, tech would love to have a post option, luke just isn't it at all..

luke was decent last year... regressed this year. he's passive. he plays like he's 6'7" - he doesnt box out. he doesnt rebound... for a player 7'1", he's kind of a scrub... but he'll get drafted in the 2nd round probably... he also gets a bad rap because he's white... if he was black, he'd probably get more press.

Well all I can say is that against NC the other day he had a great game. For most of the 4th period he controlled the paint (rebounding/blocking out). NC couldn't get any second shots. I'd love for Isiah to pick him up. He moves at least as well as Laimbeer ever did (for those of you that just have to make black/white justifications)

Yeah you right case. He does play smaller than he is.......I've always liked him for some reason. I see something in him that maybe no one else sees......He's not a game breaker but he could be a nice piece for someone.....I would definately consider him if he is available in the second round.

When the Nets move down the street what will I do? Oh, woe is me
The Nets play down the street from where I live right now so do what I do. Go there 2 times a year when the Knicks are there
I wasn't born with enough middle fingers!!!

He has some of the weakest hands I've ever seen on a 7 footer. It's almost like he plays with his thumbs taped to his palms
I just hope that people will like me

He played well in last year's tourney so I thought he might've turned a corner. But he's SOFT, SOFT, SOFT. He might be worth the risk in the late 2nd, if we have Houston's 2, but thats about it.

he's a project big man, but he's already better than a lot of schlep at the end of nBA benches because he can play a bit. He's a second round pick, he seems like he can be better than he is--a team with a really good 4 like Minnesota might be a nice place for him via a second round pick because you cannot teach 7-1

I'd take a chance on him in the second round, no big threat though...Could possibly play 10-15 mins a night off the bench in the future.
I thought the sloagan was All Ball, not All Lottery.

If luke was left in a gym all alone under the rim, to take 10 shots, point blank range, I honestly think he would miss about 4 of them, maybe more...

this guy stinks....

hey i live in ga now too and luke gets no love down here. its like any points from luke weren't planned for. he is out there to intimidate and get rebounds....all the decent teams take it right at luke. im not an expert but i totally know what tkf is talking about. (he is what we call in NJ garbage.....ah just playing)
