LeBron.

Amare is great - but LeBron is so good it's scary.

Lebron...he's a once a generation type talent...Amare is great & bigmen certainly are more ideal to build a team around, but no way i would take any young player over Lebron if i could choose.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Lebron

I'm fully anticipating him averaging a triple double in the playoffs.

That's a no brainer.

Bron ofcourse. Amare is just a scorer, he doens even rebound enough, or blocks enough shots, or plays that much defense.

Oh make anybody else better.

And lebron does it all reall well.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Start with LeBron, but Amare would be the PERFECT player to compliment him with.

LeBron, he's the closest thing to Jordan I've seen, he's physically stronger, and he is doing it at a younger age.

Lebron, because he can play every position on the court - better than KG could

i think lebron is going to be playing PF before his career is done

He certainly could and would do it well - but I don't think it's his
optimum position. Why wear him playing against the bruisers.

Looks unanimous for Lebron. i'm really happy for this kid. Remember when he was a senior in HS and it looked like he was going to derail? Got susupended for accepting some expensive throwback jerseys. Was under investigation for driving soem big expensive SUV. Wore the big rocks, got the $90M endorsemenr deal, appeared to have no J and an overhyped game, looked like he was going to be a terrible flameout and provide great fodder for every NBA-hater out there. Well, he really pulled it all togehter under some pretty intense pressure. I have to think that it was a pretty great stroke of luck for him to have gotten Silas as a coach and mentor, and it was probably a real good thing to get Ricky Davis away from him and who knows, maybe Boozer too.

I am shocked that everyone so far has picked Lebron. I was thinking atleast one person would go with Amare.

This board has a very high collective basketball IQ.

Yeah, I thought some people would go with the silly rule about always having to take the PF/C because you "must" build with big men

You are right Marv. This is the first fan board I have come across that has quality and quantity. Usually a forum with good posts only has 15 to 20 members and real good stuff. Rest have 100 posters with 50% being garbage. This forum has some really great fans and then the rest above average. There are hardly any trolls here.

Lebron can do everything on the court.....No matter who you have on the team, you can slide Lebron anywhere.

Look are the Cavs team.....Bron makes it work. All Lebron needs is a shooting guard and I home they get Micheal Redd.....that to me is their missing piece because Micheal Redd is all about the perimeter. Redd is not a dominating personality either but he is not afraid to take his shots. Get Redd and re-sign Big Z......Watch out league.
