Knicks get: C Jamaal Magloire
Hornets get: F Kurt Thomas
Knicks 1st rnd pick (early pick)

or

Knicks get: F/C Tyson Chandler
Bulls get: F Kurt Thomas
2006 1st rnd pick

I think both these deals could help the knicks A LOT. the buggest need is center and there are NOT going to be any for the knicks to draft so I think these are 2 players who could come in and help turn us right around next year.

I agree with Matt and Guns here. I would not give up a lottery pick for Magloire unless the team gets red hot, wins a lot of games, and the pick is around 12 or lower, in which case I'd consider it. Magloire's a nice young player, but he's nothing special.

I can't see the Bulls doing the Ty Chandler trade, but I would definitely do that one!

I would love Chandler too, but maybe he wont be as expensive as it seems, looking at their history. He's has had some injuries, and the Bulls still need a vet or 2. I doubt they do THAT trade, but maybe something close to it?
