feb - 22.4 mins 10.2 ppg 6.7 rebs 51.7 FG%
mar - 19.8 mins 9.0 ppg 6.0 rebs 55.6 FG%

his #'s were going up every month and then BAM, two trades later and his #'s are back down. what is this team doing? by april, he would probably be around 13/7. now he's back down to 9/6 on 20 mins a night AND he's starting!!!

i'm very upset with the way they're handling this guy. EVERY OTHER TEAM plays their freakin' rookies and high draft picks. they give them minutes and minutes and minutes and minutes. why are they not letting him grow?

There havent been that many games yet in the month of March and I think at least 2-3 of them he's been in foul trouble.

have you been watching? Herb goes to Taylor in the 4th quarter even when we have a 5pt lead and need defense to hold on to the lead. Whether Sweetney is in foul trouble or not Herb will continue to go with Taylor the same way Lenny kept going with Nazr and TT during the collapse

I know that dude. Sweetney should be getting 30 minutes or more. But I wouldn't read too much into these minute numbers because we've only played 4 games in March and he's had 4 fouls in 3 of them. I would guess the average would go up by the end of the month.

I don't disagree with you. We should've been starting Sweetney LAST YEAR. Perrenial lottery teams can't afford to not start their picks. Although Sweets had personal issues at the beginning of last year that caused him to be out of shape, he was one of the more NBA ready players in his draft and could've been playing right away. It sucks that we have so many power forwards. We just have to live with it because we can't do anything about it.
