This game is really important it will decide how well we play during this rough part in the schedule.

So many things to worry about especially since the Sonics lost yesterday at home so now they definitely be up for this game. But looking at the boxscore I noticed that the Bulls won the battle in the paint. For us to win me must win the battle in the paint and get there big guys in foul trouble. Of course that goes without saying we must defend the three and they better put their hands up in there face and not stay too far from the shooters. With like a week without a Knick it sure gets your mind thinking.

Does anybody know if Fortson is playing this game or is he still suspended by the team?

i believe danny was suspended for one game.....but if he manages to play without foul trouble [can anybody tell me when he's not] ny will have to work for this victory.

i say let jyd on the prowl

Statement: I don't see why these guys win (watch a game)

Answer: Lewis has elevated his game since Ray Allens been on this team. He's flourished. Added a drop step, added a baby hook, and finishes on the break. Radmonivich is deadly from three, can put the ball on the floor, and passes well. Ridnour/Daniels move the ball well and defend. Reggie Evans is a very good rebounder.. it'll be interesting to see him guarding Sweetney... also Collison is solid. W'ell be able to see Sweetney vs. Collison.

All the guys on their team contribute in one way or another. They get something from all of their guys every night. Effort foremost. They move the ball to open man and make the defense work.

Prediction: Unless the knicks play their A game.. and able to guard Allen, and two 6'9+ guys on the perimeter...they will get blown out.
The knicks will make a late run mid-way through the fourth... then Seattle will put the nail in the coffin, when Knick defenders are tired and unable to get out to the perimeter. I hope I'm wrong!

I want to see a lot of TT and Ariza guarding the perimeter in this game. Not Jamal Crawford...he would be a disaster!

Agreed on Ariza, but I'm never able to associate TT with any kind of defense. I want to see everyone work hard on ball denial tonight. Maybe even JYD and/or Rose on the perimeter.

we need sweets to get active on the defensive boards. if he can keep evans out with that big butt, thenwe have a chance. they're centers are all stiffs, but we need to board all those missed threes cuz they won't miss twice in a row. we need to use the clock and dump the ball in to sweets as much as possible. as soon as steph ans craw think that its a 3 point shootout, we've lost cuz they are much better at that then us. but we can score in the paint while they have potapenko.

I say sweets 21 points 12 boards 2 blocks.

marbury 27 points 2-5 from the 3, 10 assists.

kurt 15 points 15 boards.

allen 22 points 8-20

but as someone said before, its all on our perimeter D.

Some men see things as they are and ask why. I dream things that never were and ask why not?

good point they will not miss twice from 3 so the Knicks have to guard every single perimeter shot. But thats being extremely hopeful with this Knicks team. With a (SG?) who is only 6'5'' 185lbs you're going to get beat every time by good all good SGs. God I miss Spree/Starks

I'll say Knicks win, 112-105.
Marbury with 14 points, 11 assists
Sweetney 18 points, 13 rebounds
Ariza (gotta have a huge game sooner or later) 20 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals.

TT was about to dunk on someone but they fouled him and the refs didnt call it!

then what do you know Kurt Thomas stands there and watches as Lewis skies for an alley-oop and misses it then gets an offensive rebound while Kurt stands there and watches.

11-2 Knicks ball 7:48 left!
