(except to those who cant see tonights games because of the blackout or afford season tickets to a .400 team)

How about TT + Sweetney for Stackhouse and Marquis Daniels?
Then KT + lottery pick for Curry in a sign and trade

If we are going for firepower lets go all the way

Marbury/Crawford
Daniels/Ariza
Stackhouse/Penny
Mo Taylor/Rose/JYD
Curry/Butler

To hell with rebounding or defense. Lets get an exciting team NYers can be proud of

As much as I like Danielles, I hate that lineup b/c w/o Bruno and/or the Shaq understady, Travis Knight, Mustafaaab may no longer be a Knick fan, and that would be a tragedy.

I think the snow's getting to you, man. haha, that'd be awesome if only for how wacky it would be.

Did anyone screw up their roster over the summer more than Mark Cuban? Let Fortson go to Seattle for Booth, Fortson is one of the best rebounders in the league off the bench. Traded Jamison for a young, unproven PG. Jamison became an all-star and has led Wash to the 4 seed. Lost Nash for nothing. Nash has led PHO to the second best record in the game. Gave Dampier more money than Nash got. Dampier has been a disaster of sorts. Now they're paying KVH $16 million to backup Nowitzki next year. What a weird ass series of moves.

Those look like mediocre trades that I'd consider if a lot of better options didn't work out

We'd be worse off than we are now. Stackhouse is the ultimate malcontent, Curry can't be trusted, and what has Daniels ever done?
At least KT, Sweetney and TT have their offensive strengths and show up more often than the 3 you listed.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

all Daniels has done is put up huge numbers when he gets the big minutes when finley/stackhouse go down

he actually traded nash and jamison for devin harris and dampier. the reason they didn't want nash was b/c he broke down late and in the playoffs. so they figure they get a good rookie AND shore up the center spot. KVH will be parlayed into somebody else next deadline.

cuban knows what he's doing.

if money truly is not object, and we can't trade him, then i say we BUY OUT jyd and buy another #1 pick.

i like jyd but we have malik here. jyd won't get more than 5 mins a night MAX.

Isiah's not gonna buyout the contract of any player who will be a nice trade asset when the contract is in its final year (unless there's a huge public conflict with the player like Shandon Anderson)

Daniels is a stud. He can play 3 positions even run the point and plays excellent defense. He is cappable of putting up a triple double any game.

He would be the perfect combo for this team. If you could move Taylor and our late first rder for an upgrade at PF. Or retrade Stack and the late #1 for a sharpshooting/rebounding SF that would be a quality team. With a mixture of defense, hustle and offense. Curry makes Sweetney espendable. Guys like Rose-JYD-Ariza-Daniels bring that hustle, intensity, athletism, defense, rebounding.

Rose/JYD
Curry/Butler

what about more of a straight-up move for daniels, like malik or kurt, and a pick? dallas gets some muscle and a pick, another asset, we get our combo guard/swingman. i'm not big on proposing trades, but i think something more along those lines would maybe work, and i'd be happier with it than loading up our roster with stack and curry.

it's kind of funny, there are always rumors of dolan and cuban doing a big deal together but they never seem to go down.

They have Dirk (and now Van Horn too) at PF. They don't need Kurt. They need a center. They have no reason to trade Dampier for Kurt, unless they just want a way to get out of Damps' contract

so, malik, then. or JYD. and i'd give up a pick for daniels (don't particularly want dampier). they won't demand high minutes, but if the mavs need some energy and D off the bench they're good backups who can play some C or SF as well. i'm not sure van horn will be in dallas for long anyway.
