it is funny in 2003, they had Josh boone, colin falls from ND and that PG from Uconn ranked pretty low, that Humpries guy from minn, and that EBI kid that jumped to the pros were way overrated....

ariza did well for himself..

Josh Boone was actually a 6-8 SF who grew 2 1/2 inches in his year at Prep school. That was kind of lucky for Uconn. Uconn hasnt always looked at the highest ranked players-like duke kansas kentucky etc.. do, although they have been growing in the upper tier market. they specifically look for long armed players who can run the floor. Josh still had wicked long arms at 6-8, and most of the guys who are good--i.e donyell marshall ray allen caron Ben Emeka all have very long arms with athletiscm. Just like you see with trevor ariza, long armed players who have athletic ability tend to play better defense.
