This guys just plain puts up numbers without much fanfare. 6-8 225, getting 19 and 9 on 50% shooting, 2 steals, 2 blocks. The knock on him is that he's been banged up a bit, and he plays for New Mexico (which is not the toughest conference) but to me he seems like a classically underrated senior. NBAdraft.net has him going around 36 right now but I'd love to get him with our late first rounder (I'm not sure he's gonna be there come draft time).

BTW, his team (New Mexico) was the one that snapped Andrew Bogut and Utah's 18 game winning streak.

definitely an under-rated player who wouldve been a first round pick two years ago until he was injured. He will be a first round pick, but depending on where we pick, he might not warrant such a high selection from us. He's tad bit of a tweener 3-4, but is one of the BEST perimeter defenders in the draft and has real nice athletiscm. He could climb up in the draft, possibly as high as 13. If he happened to be a round at 29, then it would become very close to a no-brainer lock unless something strange happened or we promised the pick out.he is deifinitely a top 15 NCAA player

Briggs I see him as a 3 that can really defend on the next level and give you some scoring and rebounding when you need it. I think he's in the Josh Howard class of player that helps in a lot of ways, but will be underrated come draft time. Hopefully Phoenix finishes behind SA and Miami and we can get the 28th pick. Right now he'd be my first choice there. But I could see him moving up to mid first round depending on who enters the draft this year.

What do you think about Eddie Basden from Charlotte. Some people think he might be the best perimeter defender in college bball.
