How could that be? I thought that the pick could not be traded two years in a row? It probably won't matter since it's unlikely the Knicks will make the playoffs, anyway.

29. San Antonio Spurs -- Kosta Perovic, C, Serbia-Montenegro
(From Phoenix if Suns' pick not in Top 20)
The Knicks have this pick now from the Nazy trade, right?

I'm starting to think Rudy Fernandez might be a good idea also. He's got PG/SG skills and is actually playing SF. He's in Europe's most competitive league where young guys dont play and he's averaging 12/4 at SF.
Ive read me may be the most skilled player in the draft and at 19

I am confused about the knicks pick, I thought we could not trade that pick at all this year and that is was protected for at least the first 26 picks....

Even though Gomes is a tweener, there is no way he falls to 57.

Kosta Perovic at no.29? Wasn't this guy pretty highly regarded around draft time last year untill he decided to pull out?

Here's his profile...

this is the worst mock i have seen. everyone hits on something, but this misses in a lot of places. I agree with the person who said pick Jarret Jack @ 29 and see if we can get pick 56 for Ryan Gomes!

Sorry, but Im also anti-foreign player. I know there has been some success's, but we had our run with Fredrick Weiss, and I could care less if its someone 7-0 260. All these guys average 3 points in the euro leagues, some a bit more--but if Im picking a player from overseas, the dude better be DOMINATING. 1 word for ya Darko.

If Anrew Bogut isnt picked first, the only way it happens iis if either rudy gay or williams is in there. chris paul ISNT close to being pick 1

Yea seriously, I burst our laughing when I saw Gomes at 57. That is just crazy.

No the stipulation is from last year not this year. Teams aren't allow to trade any 1st round pick from back to back years. Phoenix already used NY pick last year when they traded it to Utah.
