The KNicks #1 priority is to get a Center.....Forget about the guards, we have enough of that.....This year, we have to address our needs....A PG in the second round would be mighty good, but the first round, we must find ourselves at least two big men that can play the game of basketball. As for that kid Fezakas, if he can shoot the ball, and posess a lowpost game, can block shots, and most of all rebound, yeah bring him in...The weight part is not at all a problem. We can always find him a weight program that could add muscles and mass on his frame....

There is a 7-1 270 pound C from Colorado State named Matt Nelson who is slow, but he is a true blue C who does have some nice skills. He is definitely a nice late second round pick, or a guy you would pick up after the draft to pick up for a SL team.

You dont necessarily need a true blue C to win right now. I mean did Detroit have one? ben wallace is 6-8! toughness, skill, length, heart, athletsicm go a long way

Pheonix is 43-14 with a 6-9 C and a 6-7 PF

briggs, i know it's tough to predict, but who's the best point guard that's going to be available for our 2nd round pick this season? (it's probably late in the 2nd since it's houston's pick, right?)

The Knicks traded their 2nd rounder last year for Tim Thomas, and I haven't seen anything about this Houston pick. Where is everybody getting the info that the Knicks have a 2nd rounder?

Well, there are options there. we could try offering our lottery pick for Devin Harris back to Dallas, but I highly doubt they would give him up.

We could draft a PG with a lottery pick, but i dont like any of them--none of them are in Harri's caliber.
we could draft a PG with our second pick
but the best route i think is finding a vet PG to back up. I would use part of my MLE on damon stoudemire, something like 3 years 10mm$ I think we are better off breaking up the MLE and keeping a portion of it open, unless something unusual is available.

how could we get both kwame and hughes? expiring contracts of TT/Penny, KT & this year's two 1st rounders? I would do it! Hughes is the one combo guard I like since he's 6'5'' and plays D.

I've been calling for Hughes to become a Knicks since last season.....It would be a blessing from heaven if we can acquire this young man...He has developed his game beautifully and he is now a leader...I wished that it was him that Isiah acquired instead of Crawf, mainly because of his court creativity and defense, but Isiah saw something different in Crawf.... I too doubt that the Wizz will let him go, but it will be very worthy to try to get him.....A lineup of Marb, Hughes, TT, Sweetn, and a real Center is very dangerous....Please don't mention Kwame as a Knicks...He is garbage, go to the draft instead and pick a young Center from a good program...
