this season is pretty much a lost but i'm pretty worried about our ability to perform in the last 2 minutes.

marbury has been AWFUL all season long, but it's not just him. tim, craw, mr. nba finals penny, and everybody else are playing way too scared. i think it starts with marbury and it's trickled down.

is this something that can carry over considering most of those guys are coming back next season?

The Knicks should just run their offense late in the game in chunchtime. All too often they abandon the team play and goto Marbury and Crawford one on one. It really makes it easy for the other teams to defend. Last nights final shot was a joke. Give it to Crawford and let him go against the Lakers best defender (Kobe)? I think alot of it is they don't trust their big guys (Sweets) enough to run a play through them late in the game.

the problem is they worry about milking time way to much that they stagnate and do not get off good shots.

I agree..its sickening. Even if Sweetney takes the last shot and misses at least he learns from the experience and works on what he did wrong so that next time his is successful. I think you hit the nail right on the head as to what happens in the clutch with this team. They give the ball to marbury and crawford and stand around while they shoot contested bricks. Instead of dumping it in to Sweetney and trusting his ability to score in the post or recognize the double team and kick it back out for an uncontested shot.

I can't believe we see this and the coaching staff making millions doesn't after 50+ games!

Guys! layoff this team a little. Rome wasn't build in a day. This team is a work in progress, and mistake will be made until they have confidence in themselves...We didn't have an identity all season long, we are now in the process of finding one...As the season progresses, all those mistakes will be eliminated.. The coaches have to be familiar with their players, and the players have to be familiar with one another...the game of basketball is a game of instinct and strategy, but the two can't work together if the players and the coaches don't have chemistry within themselves.....We now have guys who have been in big games, and believe it or not, the two rings that Malik have will turn this Knicks team into something else....Patience.....Two weeks ago we would have lost last night's game...

How about working the pick and roll with Kurt Thomas more and letting Sweetney play in crunch time. He hit some nice big layups last night.
