To all the true fans, I will say congrats..It has been a while since our Knicks have played in the fashion that they have the last three games. 3 in a row since the trades, and Isiah is looking really good right now. I know that some of you (losers) want us to tank the season, just so we can endup with a top draft, but as a competitor, some of us don't want to see that. Our coaching staff is doing a wonderful job so far. Now that we have capable bodies, I expect even more from them all. Mo is not as bad as many of you have thought. He has skills that we may need later on. I am so happy to finally see Sweetney playing heavy minutes, that move has been well overdue.
Herb will be blessed with a few more days to acquaint his newcomers and most of all teach his defensive scheme. As it looks right now, perhaps things will get even better. I am optimistic about the rest of the season, mainly because, I know that a couple of our boys perform better in the second half. A sign of maturity is the way we have done in the second half of games as of late. A couple of weeks ago, we were losing in the second half, but now we have turned the corner. Our toughness was tested tonight, but we've responded beautifully in OT.
Better things are in store for us good fans, keep hope alive....
The true Knickabocker..........

the beginning of OT was going soo badly. I'm just so happy they didn't give up. Quite exciting game tonight..lol...to be honest i was a little scared about my dad & his heart problem who was at the game. Go NY.
TT Where have ya been all season! I'm loving it, please please please keep it up!
its sucks because Isiah gets all the blame...I'm not saying he doesn't deserve some for putting this team together but the coaching was absolutely terrible. Lenny got nothing out of Tim Thomas. Since Herb took over he's been a lot better and most importantly despite Nazr playing like garbage in pre-season Lenny stuck with him all year while we underachieved instead of going with a Kurt/Sweetney frontline sooner!
our defense would've been better and Marbury would've looked a lot better and problably made the allstar team and we would have a winning record
I guess becuase I am a newbie, everything I say is attachekd by nimrod, but I said yesterday that lenny was the reason we sucked in January and he was like "blah blah blah".
I'm telling you, I am seeing the knicks that I saw in preseason and watch on All Ball...I'm rooting for the playoffs.
Right now nobody can beat us.
While mo T started our slow, I read a post during the game that stated "put mo t back in?"
Come on now...the haters need to wait until we lose before they talk smack, because these are the knicks you like (if you are a fan) they play tough, they don't give up.
Zeke made us better now...and we are going to make a push for hte playoffs..
if we don't make it, so be it...but i'm rooting for us to win every game!!!
all kool aid all the time.

that is what I am talking about. Good to see that we still have a few believers on this board.....Enough with the Isiah bashing, let's rejoice now that we are showing pulse once again.....
Koodos to Herb, although I thought that he made a Lenny mistake at the end for not fouling Kobe with 25 seconds remaining, but I will still give him praise for keeping or breathing some defensive life into our players' vessels.
